How does your game fit the theme?
A random countdown runs until you press a BIG button. To "win," you must press the button as close as possible to a random target time (without being able to see where the current timer is).

Wow, this game has everything—even voice acting!
A really well-made game.
Thanks for enjoying this experience :D
Wow this is such a unique concept for this jam. Something I would add to this game would be more UI components (such as showing the players health. But even without this the game was immersive and fun :)
Glad that you liked it :D
The player health is displayed through the finger left on is hand and some other info are showed only when you have certain item.
A fun and creative interpretation of the jam theme. I have already seen another game in this jam where the player has to count time in their head, and I think it is a great idea because it creates a challenge based almost entirely on how much you can trust your own sense of timing.
I liked the visual presentation, and there is also a good variety of items and abilities that affect the main gameplay. Some of them were not completely clear to me, so I could not fully make use of everything, but I understood most of the mechanics.
A little more narrative about who the character is, why they are there, and whether escape is possible would have been interesting, although the game clearly focuses more on gameplay and high-score survival.
Overall, I really liked the core idea of testing your own internal sense of time. It is simple, creative, and works well.
Thank you for those feedback !
We sadly didn't had time to add all the thing we wanted to, Narrative was a part of it.
Happy that you like our take on the theme :D
Great game wonderful concept. Keep it up Please check out my game too if you have spare time
Glad you liked it :D. Ofc, we will make sure to give yours a try !
Very good idea that the player has to count, understood the mechanic fairly early. Good job!
Glad that you liked it :D Thanks for playing
Great mechanic and implementation of countdown, it made the players themself actually do the countdown instead of showing it on a screen which I thought was super smart. I wasn't sure if the characters pressing animation was part of the countdown or not. But overall a really good game, one of the most unique implementation of the theme I've seen so far!
The animation doesn't count in the timer it's just here to build up the tension; I still don't have any idea on how to make clear that it's on click without just writing it down :/
Glad that you loved the experience !
Really fun concept with a surprisingly addictive gameplay loop! I liked how the pressure builds over time, and the random events kept each round feeling fresh. The visuals and audio fit the game perfectly. Nice work!
Thanks for your feedback :D
On my first round I may have waited 40 seconds because I misunderstood the assignment, but after that I got the hang of it! I personally didn't use items as I feel they would've hindered me more than helped but I appreciate that they were there! Very good art too, love the vibes!
Glad that you loved it ! Thanks for playing :D
nice concept
Simple yet fun :D
The art and music felt good, they worked for this theme. And instead of always counting down from a random number to 0, I liked this idea of starting and ending on random numbers, it adds to the challenge! The random help items worked nicely too.
Thanks for playing and those feedback. Glad that you liked it :D
It was a very nice experience, with a simple but fun concept behind it! Loved the random events like the scratching hand and the cat and I also liked the upgrades and the increasing difficulty! Had trouble realizing, at the beginning, that the timer started after the bar on top depleted but that might have just been me^^' Great work!
Happy that you liked our game :D
Figuring out when the timer start has been a problem for most player. Sadly we didn't see that issue sooner :/
It's not a big deal though, really! I realized what I had to do soon enough. ;)
Cool contecept enjoyable to play. Love the artwork and voice over. Good Job
Glad you had fun :D
this game taught me i'm actually pretty good at counting seconds, it was pretty satisfying to hit the number exactly with all 0s (though i was too slow to get a screenshot you'll just have to trust me on this)
nice take on the theme!
Thanks for enjoying it :D
I'm sure those true perfect are genuine dw haha
Nice work! I'm reconsidering how well I can count seconds...
Yeah right ?! Seems like time doesn't work the same for everyone lmao
Thanks for playing :D
It's a nice game, but too hard for me cause I couldn't hit any number right. Good job
Feels like a pretty atmospheric game with quite a bit of anxiety.
Fortunately the cat is here to balance this out a little haha
Thanks for playing :D
Simple yet fun to play. The artstyle looks so good, I was surpised when the cat jump out and tried to pet it loll
Happy you loved it :D The cat event is our best idee for sure haha
Pretty fun game, feels maybe sort of inspired by buckshot roulette? Also I was at first really confused about health because I saw health items and was confused how to know how much health I have cause didn't see any indicator. So uh, I don't have the lives counter that is in the screenshots, like it just doesn't appear?? (win 11 firefox)
Glad you liked it. Buckshot roulette inspired the vibe of the game yes :D
The fingers left on his hand are the health indicators (the screenshot come from the debug version with more meta info showed than in the release version kinda confusing we will see to change that)
OHHHHHH damn thats very cool, kinda sad I didn't notice that.
Took me a while to realize the beep beep when it shows the big number is not already part of the countdown, but the countdown starts after the progress bar (which I didn't notice) disappears. Neat concept. The items mess with your head.
Yeah we could have handle that better the issue have been found too late :/ Glad you liked it !
I thought it was fun and mechanically it worked really well. Maybe almost too well - I didn't really get messed up by any of the items and kind of got bored of doing the same thing 20ish times in a row. I wished there were more frequent effects that intentionally would try to trip me up like the trombone, the cat jumping up, the item that made me hit the button twice, etc. and fewer opportunities to get rid of those negative items (which kind of felt like cheating). The sounds were sometimes a little harsh as well. But the atmosphere was weird and cool though, especially when random stuff like the bloody scratch across the screen showed up!
Thank you, I agree this was a really good review over the gameplay, maybe after the jam we will add more gameplay, Thank You!
