How does your game fit the theme?
The swinging back and forth of "how much time do i have left to cast a spell" can be likened to a countdown/countup

The art is certainly a highlight here. :D
I think the game has a good mechanical core as well, but I did have to figure it out more or less fully by intuition and trial and error.
The main critique I would offer this game is that the player receives little feedback concerning their actions and enemy actions, and that makes it harder to understand the mechanics generically. It's a cool battler game, just needs a bit more polish for its true form to come through. I hope you keep developing this game :D
I love your art, i didn't understand anything, but it's all very wonderful
I really liked the art and the audio of the game, but the gameplay itself didn’t really have too much strategy (or at least I didn’t understand it). After killing around 10 monsters I didn’t know what was going on. What was the goal of the game? Why am I killing these enemies? When do I reach a win or a loss? Some more polish on the gameplay and explanations could’ve done the game wonders. Still, congratulations on finishing the game on time and submitting in the jam!
Fantastic art and audio, I actually caught myself nodding along to the beat as I played! I liked the touch of the ticking clock alternating left and right in my headphones, lol. There wasn't any sign of progression so I just stopped after 10 or so enemies. I think the connection to the theme is pretty tenuous, but I had fun playing!
Really great game ! I've been seeing lot of turn based games and all are very great ! I'd love if you check out my game too ! Thanks
Really cool, with a gorgeous pixel art, but I would have liked a bit more details on the mechanics, they are a bit difficult to understand
pretty cool :) i couldn't figure out how to play the game though :( but from what i've seen it looks really good, nice job!!
Fantastic art. Fun gameplay, although it doesn't feel like there is too much depth to it. Still, fun game.
Love the art, music, and UI feedback! A bit confused about the mechanics without a tutorial.
Amazing art and pretty fun. A tutorial might've been nice as it took me a while to understand everything.
The game feels like it's going too fast, which is noticable at the end of each battle. Also the UI was slightly confusing? I wasn't entirely sure, what meant what.
The art and the music is amazing though.
Lacks tutorial and clarity. Overall sad that I was lost cause I believe huge potential
I love the artwork!
The combat was really enjoyable at first, but after a while I found a strategy that trivialized it. Good concept, though it could use a progression system.

May I know which one -- I have some guesses :)
I really liked the artwork and the atmosphere.
It didn't feel like the mechanics were very intuitive unfortunately, and there wasn't a lot of explanation in the game. It took me a while to work out how the time/mana system worked, I think partially because the UI wasn't very clear to me.
I think it could really benefit from animating the health bars and the time meter values changing so that you can more easily see what's happening each turn.
I also didn't really know if there was any progression since either winning or losing you just get shown 2 options for what to fight next
Great artwork! I was struggling a bit with how I was supposed to play the game, would love to have had some kind of tutorial in game that would explain what all the different bars and icons meant.
The monster design and "vibe" was really superb!
Great work! :)
The art for this game was really good! I found it was very powerful just to clone and life rob, and if I got really low I would use holy cup instead. Very nice game!
For what i can see nice art and music was nice for me. Unsure what was the end goal. So I stopped after the 10th enemy.
Can you increase the default game size for the game in the settings?
The graphics was my favorite part.
A bit confusing but very creative! Great work with the art style & audio. Well done!
Music and overall sound design build pressure, which is great. Also great artwork, well done!
The music and are are great and give the game a good overall atmosphere. I did struggle to understand what I was meant to do though. I ended up trying a handful of options, only to end with only the "do nothing" option and my eventual demise. Plenty of icons appeared on the screen, but it was unclear what they meant or how they affected me. Still, it looks something like with a tutorial and brief in-game story line, most of that would be resolved.
