How does your game fit the theme?
Upon receiving the theme of countdown, a tense duel at high noon in the rough and tumble Wild West immediately came to mind. We wanted to capture those edge of your seat stare downs in classic Western films, where the slightest twitch results in both life and death.

Good job and fantastic art!
I love the art style, it has so much character! Unique game with interesting mechanics, and I love the variety of enemy-to-lovers represented.
Love the art style and the audio! My one piece of critique though: the tutorial is a bit too text-heavy. Shifting towards more intuitive tutorial would really help lower the barrier to entry and broaden the game's appeal. Still, fantastic work!
Great game with great art and audio. I love the western theme great job buddy well done :)
I loved in art! Awesome looking game, also western theme is a lovely type for me <3
You did a great job! I think u should add trailer video and give some polish to gamepage to look it fresh.

You did a great job!
Prisoner’s dilemma, but with flirty cowboys. Cool concept! Perhaps a little more feedback (particularly audio) could have helped, so that I could tell what sort of affect my actions were taking, and when it was time to shoot, without relying on manually inspecting (I was admittedly pretty bad at making the right choice). Otherwise, a fun little game!
Awesome game! Love the western theme. The art and music are great and the gameplay quite fun, though it takes some trial and error to learn the Inspect hints.
As the other chap said, the text wall explanation looks a bit daunting. I think splitting up such an explanation into multiple slides would make it more digestible. Of course, sometimes those things just ain’t possible on jam time.
Had fun with this one, especially in seeing all the various characters. Great work!
Definitively the most interesting implementation of this idea. And with great art too. Though the explanation wall was a bit too over complicated, a few visuals and icons would have helped (and make it multiple pages long instead of one giant wall of text)
Very nice art style :)
Once you know when to shoot ( had to check the comments :( ), it's super enjoyable :D
I love the art in this game, it adds a real charm!! Very tricky game to win but I got there eventually!! Great stuff :)
Such a fun game! The art direction is amazing and everything from the art to the UI feels really well put together. Loved it! 🤠
love the cardboard/paper backing art style you went with here. haven't seen another game like this one in the jam so far so well done! enjoyed playing :D
Interesting idea. Sometimes I couldn't tell if I should shoot someone or not.
BGM and artwork really matching that made me know it's very polished, nice game !
If you have the time, please try and rate my game too :D
It's good to see another wild west show down game! I love the art and UI, the music is great. I love that I can download the flac (i have a personal vendetta against OGG VORBIS!!!)
Loved the music, atmosphere and the execution!!
Cool concept and art, but it feels impossible to shoot faster than your opponent. Is there some part of the controls I'm missing other than selecting a shot and clicking, or is it just web build lag making the timing window impossible?
It worked for us, but I guess it would depend on your computer (and we made the game so it feels easier to us). For what it's worth, we didn't intend for players to react to the sun stopping, so there's a small window where you can shoot right before the sun hits noon! Thanks for playing :)
Ahhhh, I was in fact trying to shoot after the sun stopped, that was probably it x). Maybe needs some more clarity as to when the window is, since I assumed high noon would be the earliest you could draw.
The sound design is amazing !!! i love the art style too.
And the take on the theme is really clever, great job !
The game feels very nice, but I just can't get over the menu. I love it so much. It feels great to spin I could accept it as a whole gameplay nothing else needed. Loved the overall style too
