Really creative idea! The last level was pretty challenging, but like the rest of the game, it was super fun. Great entry!

How does your game fit the theme?
You play as an hourglass. You must keep your sand running by timing your jumps. If you run out of sand, you lose. You are the count down.

Very creative take on the theme! You are the countdown. I such at platformers as well as time pressure so I got through just a few levels but I did really enjoy what I played! Definitely something someone better than me could sink their teeth into.
Also I recognize those pipe assets :)
The game is truly amazing, I've finished it, your design is really clever. I think you could create many more great puzzles with this mechanic—not just ones based on time, but also puzzles involving the A/B sides or changes to the map when you flip.
Really nice. Great job!
Wow. Great idea and implementation. The only thing that bothered me is the visibility of the sand. I see the helper in the left corner but if the backgorund was white, with the pipes, I couldn't tell. But this is nitpicking, congrats, great game!
Probably the most original use of the jam theme by far. Great idea and great execution. All the elements here fit together perfectly. Congrats! I've enjoyed it a lot.
Great use of some cool assets! Check out mine to see some more haha
Not sure if it was a mistake or a feature but I think it was clever to use the limited colour pallete to sometimes hide what your timer showed. Clever way to make it more difficult without raising the skill ceiling much higher.
Awesome concept and executed very well.
Was a little stressful for me but that's just cause im buns at platformers haha
Yay, another hourglass character !
The concept is cool, that's a nice twist on the theme ! This should be expanded into a full fledged game !
I had some frictions tho (I'm aware they're symptoms of short dev time ha ha); the visual for the time remaining is hard to read in the middle of the action, especially in front of some background elements. The jumps near ledges should have some "coyote time", I fumbled so many jumps because of that.
Despite it, I had a lot of fun playing it !
The idea of needing to time your jumps was super cool! One issue I ran into was not knowing if I had collected a key at first, since there wasn't a sound for it but there were sounds for other things. I think having the zoomed in visual for the player would've worked better if things like background pipes didn't show up as well, obfuscating the visuals and defeating what I assumed was the point; to show how much time you had left. Sometimes it felt like I missed my jumps a bit undeservedly, but when the level design was more focused around restricting jumping, it was really sick.
Being a tiny hourglass doing parkour is such a good jam idea. I spent the first level hopping like a caffeinated toaster and barely looking at the sand, then the tunnel politely told me to use my brain. The timer disappearing against white objects got me a few times tho. Still, very clever and weirdly polished.
This idea was so creative! I can't believe I haven't seen this in another game, and you did it so well! I love how the background objects make it harder to tell your time, it's a creative way to make the player avoid obstacles without just killing them
I love the hourglass as the countdown, the pixel sand timer was surprisingly easy to read in most circumstances. My only complaint is you can't see how much time is left when overlapping a white background.
Pretty cool game. I missed a lot based on the comments haha. Great job.
Really cool game! I didn't really notice the time mechanic in the first level as I just started jumping all around the place, so I really liked the tunnel in the second level that made me be a bit more thoughtful. It's a neat idea, and its well done.
it's a really clever mechanic, but the white background objects make it hard to see the hourglass when you're in them
I absolutely love the idea of flipping the hourglass to reset the timer—it's such a clever mechanic!
( I didn't always have time to glance at the timer in the top-left while playing,)but the core concept is genuinely awesome. Really enjoyed it!
Fun idea! It felt a bit too punishing for me, though. Especially the jumping puzzles felt like regular jumping puzzles with the added requirement of constantly jumping, which felt more tedious than enjoyable. I was more intrigued by the later parts where you have to time your passage through narrow tunnels. I'm curious what else you can do with this mechanic. I like the simplicity of the art style.
So original! Loved the embodiment of the theme as you being the literal count down. Nice job!!
I won! The mechanic of the hourglass took me a minute to get used to, but overall a surprisingly polished game!
