Wow such a unique cool artstyle! And well polished for that time! You should try to develop this further after the event, when you have more time :D

Really cool aesthetic! I wasn't quite sure how my countdown was affecting the bars down below, but other than that it was interesting. I'd most likely get fired IRL. :D

Very solid aesthetic and quite an interesting take on the theme! I didn't really understand what I was supposed to do though so didn't get very far.

Very interesting and unique take on the theme - good job (Bravo on the CRT shader)

Amazing visuals and theme.

I was a little confused at first but it was fun once I got the hang of it. The visuals are really nice and I love the crt/old tv vibe. Great job!

Same feedback as everyone else lol, I loved the CRT and old TV shader, but definitely more accessibility would have been good. Loved the aesthetic!

Was pretty confused at first, but loved the concept once I got it down. Def could've used more instruction, but the overall game was enjoyable and the graphics are very nicely done. Congrats on completing the game jam!

Developer

I was impressed by the style and aesthetics! Truly a wonderful game, instructions coul've more readable, but I am willing to overlook that for the sake of this quality.😂

Developer

thanks!  yes defo need a bit more time in the oven relating the text and readability!

The concept is solid and you killed it with  the shader and the aesthetic . Really felt like I was watching an old timey tv. the fantasy is also solid . But it was extremely hard to read during the game . Also maybe a way to speed up the conversation would have been nice. But loved the humour and art in the game

Developer

thanks for playing, yes i agree final build had issues with text! will learn next time to test early before deadline!

The effects really make things feel like the time period! It’s a bit hard to read the instruction text though image.png

yes agree i acidently delete his black consume, so now he has a white one making even harder to read haha, too late to fix it ! thanks for playing and feedback

Original game! Enjoyed it, the visuals are beautiful and I like the simple idea of just counting with a specific rythm. Good job!

Very uniqe game idea with very stylish graphics and good musics. I LOVE how you used your game page.

Developer

thanks foir the great feedback! yea the page is intesting! i wish i could make the game transparent tho! but not possible without custom styling that i dont have access to yet!

Great concept! The CRT presentation is such a cool idea and gives the game a lot of personality. It took me a moment to understand the controls, but once it clicked it was really satisfying. Nice work, especially for a jam!

Developer

thanks foir the great feedback! glad you enjoted it

Can I just say having the game look like the CRT screen on a background image is genius!

More on topic, it took me a bit to work out what I'm meant to be doing. I do feel like having some kind of guide for the expected tempo would be useful.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

thanks for the feedback, and yes i agree this and the filesize issues did not help, i had to reomve some assets and textures! but anyway thanks for trying out the game :)

Controls:

Press and hold number keys 1 to 9/ 9 to 1 in order at correct pace. Hold and release SPACE at the end.

Great job on this! The core mechanic is really clever and it's impressive how much you managed to polish in just 3 days. I had a lot of fun playing it, congrats on finishing the jam!
