Amasing game! That comms person needs to be fired! :)
Very very interesting hand-controls concept. You did a great job in making such a fun game, it reminds me some Wheatley lines: "Okay don't panic! Alright? Stop panicking! I can still stop this"
the art for this game is perfect for its vibe and very well drawn, it enhanced the experience so much. voice acting was also very great. the idea is also very smart and execution great. Fantastic game!
I really like the voice acting! The dual controls were surprisingly easy to get used to too
Reminds me of 'surgeon simulator' and 'please don't touch anything' but with this unique control scheme!
This was very fun, i really liked the voice telling you what to do. Great job!
Reminds me a lot of 'Please, Don't Touch Anything' but i really like how its executed here, really funny game :> Also i honestly thought the arms movement was really intuitive xd
i like how you there is a saying to almost everything. really hats off on that!
First thing I did press was the self-destruct button (unprompted btw). I don't know what I was expecting.
This was a really funny game, I liked how it seems the instructor also didn't know what was going on haha. The emotional support turtle was a cute touch. Great job!
ummm. this was the funniest game I have played in the jam by far. Also I loved how you have actual arms and hands to press things and strangely the wasd e for left and right with mouse and click worked out quite well. I wonder if that took iteration or you just nailed the controls from the start.
My favorite part was when it said to pull the choo choo thing or something of that nature haha.
also I appreciate the detail even had on the wedding ring.
I thought this one was so charming, here is the playtest at 00:28:31
Thanks, the stream link is very much appreciated! I really like hearing people's thoughts mid-play, especially a game like this where getting a little confused midway through is an intentional part of the game. I didn't think much about making the timer count down at the end, I mostly wanted to give the impression that the launch went off without a hitch so the countdown must have gone off, but you're right, it would be nice to see how long you took to actually finish the game. Maybe we shoulda just paused the timer instead. Again, thank you very much!
I really wish I found the emotional support turtle earlier.
Solid clues in general, you really walked the just-enough-information-to-be-almost-helpful line very very well. Nice work!
Hi. Your game is very creative. I liked the feeling of learning to launch (I wanted to be an asronaut as a kid). At first I pressed the wrong button and I lost inmediatly, lol. Then I couldn't find the brown lever. I loved the turtle and the music, audio, and the voice acting. Congrats.
This is SO joyful! I love the emotional support turtle and the voice lines! This was so enjoyable and silly. I did immediately hit the self destruct button, but that's a given.
Thank you. Your game was also great :) It was deep and well written, as well as being very poetic.
Every single joke in this game landed for me! I love the emotional support turtle! does he have a name?
Oh yah his name is "support turtle" he's just really emotional lol :) Thanks for playing my game!
I was wondering where i heard that music before - then i realized, i listened to that one a bunch as i was trying to find music for my game... :P
It's definitely a fun game concept - i had some chuclkes and i managed to complete the launch sequence! :)
Thanks :) I listen to a lot of No Copyright music during work, so if you ever need goof music to use for your game, here is my playlist of good music that I use. My personal favorite is Alkakarb. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLb9ea5JxIuyZJX_nm7MSYzigen6cNOEDO&si=EILdGNw3...
I immediately hit the blow up button on my first run. Whoops! It was a fun experience. I liked the art design overall, and the voicing was nice.
Honestly I think the narrator gets a bad rap. I knew instantly what the lonely button and the choo choo handle were. Next time I need to start a rocket I know who to call.
Great work really fun game and very fun mechanics
Thank you, not everyone recognizes that the narrator is actually a pro at their job>:(
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a very creative game, I touch every btn in this game and boooooooom! HAHAHAHA
Hehe yeah glad ur alive tho lol! Hope you had fun!
Fun game! Reminded me of those sim games where you control the hands individually. Loved the voice acting and the emotional support turtle lol
Glad you enjoyed it! I can totally see that. No surgeries here though, only rocket science!
Hard to play through when theres a self destruct button right in front of me waiting to be pressed...
Super fun idea hat a good time with it!
The temptation is nearly overwhelming, isn't it... Thanks for playing!
