Pretty hard without a numpad :D
Definitely fair - I only tried it once that way, and it was a struggle! Thank you for playing :)
🎉 Your overall rank is #948 in GMTK Game Jam 2026! Congrats!

Even though GMTK doesn't provide an official overall score, most teams put effort into every category. We made this ranking by averaging each game's category scores so everyone can easily compare their overall performance
LETS GOOOO MY DUDE!! Congrats on first place !!!
Thank you! Honestly couldn't be happier, been grinning ear to ear all evening :)
This has to be the hardest rhythm game I ever played lol. The concept is very clever though and I really love the art style and the music of course lol.
Finally a game for numpad enjoyers! Really nice art style! Enjoyed the simple rhythm-like mechanics :D
I laughed at Fangs for the Memories! This is great! Feels like playing Pump it Up and working at a bank writing using numpad finally paid off.
Visually works well, I guess it doesn't even need a tutorial because the layout is pretty intuitive.
The music is great, even the menu one.
I would like to have a bit more room to prepare for the numbers, but then it wouldn't be centered. It would also be nice to have a way to keep your score, all I remember was that once playing Fangs for the Memories I got 1144.
I really like the song! but there are so many number that I have to press, which makes the game too hard for me (lol)
im horrible at this game but that is lowk on me for not playing 10-key rhythm games LOL. really really cute game especially with the music and art :]
This feels like divine punishment for not waiting for the keyboard with the numpad to come back in stock when I was buying my keyboard like 5 years ago. Nifty little rhythm game, the main requirement for these is the music needs to be a jam, and this absolutely fits the bill. The art is also super appealing for what's just a vampire staring me down while I miss like nineteen notes in a row.
This game's obviously not built for my setup but it'd be nice to have the option to enable a "faux numpad" of sorts with the JKLUIO789 keys for those of us without numpads - in my opinion that'd probably be the best way to support us numpadless freaks without separating the inputs into separate lanes, which would probably compromise the core idea a little too much.
Putting my input woes aside, this is an appealing little game.
As a 75% keyboard user I gotta say. Yeah I need a numpad... 10/10 absolute banger OST
Thank you so much!
I though my myself, how hard can it be to hit numpad keys to the rhythm... oh but how wrong I was. Still great fun even tho I suck at it :D
Fun! Number pad was definitely the way to go. Some of those diabolical skips would trip me up, but I still had a great time with both levels. Helped that the music was groovy!
Thats 3 counts and 2 downs in 1 title!
I may have got a bit carried away there it's true
Friday Midnight Funkin'. What more to say ?
The art and animation in this are so cool, and the music is incredibly catchy! It is definitely super challenging trying to hit all the different number keys, but getting a combo feels really rewarding. Great job!
Thank you so much! Really glad to hear you enjoyed the art and music :)
I didn't realize just how bad my touch typing muscle memory was for the number row but this was still so fun! The music was really catchy and the pixel art was great! ( I was hoping Fangs For the Memories would be a cover of the Fallout Boy song but that's okay )
Playing on the number row rather than a number pad is so difficult, I did not do well when I tried! Glad you enjoyed the music and art :)
Beautiful presentation and amazing music! I did find it difficult to play with ten different buttons, but getting the combo up felt sweet as a result. Great work!
Thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed the tunes :)
I am so bad at this game!
I tried on the number row and was awful. I tried my number pad and was a bit better but still bad. Skipping numbers in the first song is a very cruel thing to do! Second song is a bit easier as it doesn't skip numbers.
Main issue I think is hit detection is a bit wonky and having 9 possible inputs with very little reaction time makes it very difficult.
Apart from that the art is fantastic and I love the music! I love that it's CC0 aswell. Great work!
Playing with the number row is brave - I tried myself, it was very difficult! Quite a few people have pointed out that the difficulty is too high, I should have included a simple track to begin with, and perhaps different modes (maybe a countdown from 5-1 would be easier?)
Thank you for playing :)
I love the animation of goblin! Also good rhythm game very catchy.
Thank you so much! The goblin was such a fun character to work on :)
