This definitely has a story behind it. But as for me so hard to understand it.
Artwork is amazing. But audio can't take the same level with it.
However, this game is something that has a soul and it need to be rated by more persons, i mean.
I prefer more grounded story, but the beauty of the artworks, the uniqueness vibe and the depth of the meditation make this game a rare entry in a game jam !
Wow - wasn't sure what to expect but this was a gorgeous meditation on life, reality, friendship and so much more. Beautiful and unique art style. Our artist loves the colour palettes and contrast. One of my favourite games so far.
This is such a beautiful game in all regards, it's so impressive. Surreal storytelling and incredible art and sound on top of a fun and engaging gameplay. Awesome!!
I really love the style right off the bat, especially how the text is skewed to look like it's physically in the space. I'm not quite well versed in storytelling so I can't give too much feedback on that front but it was quite engaging nonetheless. The gameplay aside from the storytelling was also fun and well made, though I'm not sure if it's my failing vision but the perspective paired with the flat background in 3d space made me feel just a little dizzy.
Amazing work, the first strong narrative game I've played so far :)
The artstyle and music was really good and the story was interesting. I can't judge very much in terms of story as I'm not very experienced withs narratives but the minigames during loading times were a nice addition, they prevent the player having to wait while also doing some storytelling. Honestly thought the ······s were censored swears at first lol, good job!
Wow that's a good idea for censored cursed words. Actually the third game we didn't figure out a good gameplay (or not having enough time) so - - yeah it's basically a placeholder. But glad you love the art and the music. The story is indeed too complicated and definitely needs more polishing. Thanks again for your suggestions!
I really loved pretty much every frame in the game visually; i loved the use of a 3d engine for the visual novel style, normally i get very turned away from visual novels but the look and feel of this is very unique and i really did like having the ability to look around, the particle effects and paralaxing, it was so much more immersive!
sadly i think some portions of the story got lost in translation for me, i could follow along but i didn't get too attached to the characters or understand much of what was going on , impressive that there is three translations for this !
as for direct feedback there is a few moments where the text becomes nearly unreadable on the backdrop, (mainly this example) and there was another situation where (when the vending machine talked) it would flash, and i found that disorienting.
the game portion was a bit silly, i didn't mind the minigames being more like story beats than gameplay-focused, the big googly eyes were a weird style change that was a bit jarring for me, but yeah otherwise i loved it, this style of visual novel is really cool!
Really really thank you for your comment. I mean who reeeeaaally care about ratings if everyone comments like you. We have very little time to polish the narrative so some translations are not in there - sorry for the confusion but I think we hit the basic point. Thanks again for all your suggestions and we would love to thank you again for your comment again with a juicy Five Guys burger.
Absolutely love the visuals and narrative!!!!
I'm really interested on how you set up parts of the narrative and dialogue within the game in-engine, some unique concepts!
Wow what a visually stunning game, Incredible characters and art and a complex story, love the music as well, thanks for making this!
