How does your game fit the theme?
The whole game runs on a literal countdown, the colony has a fixed amount of time left before it ends, and every building you construct spends from that same countdown. Time is a currency, time is both the game's clock and its only real resource. The entire loop is about racing that countdown while trying to build (via research and Time Generators) enough capacity to buy seconds back before it hits zero.

Unique idea nice artstyle, and it's quite a full game there's a lot to do! I love the balance with time preservation - right when you start worrying about running out of time the game introduces a way to gain more. It was fun to play overall! :]

Time being a currency is super interesting in a resource managemant game. I managed to get to around 30 citizens by the end. Though I've realised there is a lot of things I couldve probbably done better (I built way more houses than I could fill up haha). There are a ton of mecanics here and it feels like it the game a lot of depth, very cool!

Super polished game, i really enjoyed the time i spent on it. Music was as cute as the little people running around. Once i got into it i didn't want to stop playing, watching the colony grow was fun :)

At first, I had trouble understanding what was the strategy of the game. But after a full run, it becomes very clear.
This is a very creative way to think about base building game. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback, I had alot of inspirations when i was building this game!

Idk if I'm doing something wrong but the time limit seems pretty strict. I tried a few times and the closest I got was 30/40, but I consistently ran out of time day 15 or so. I probably could have done it if it unlocked the next building as soon as you hit the goals though - often times I would have all requirements to meet the "get x by this day" but I would still need to wait for said day to arrive, stalling progression (this is the number 1 change I would make if you have time).  Only thing I stabilized was houses, storage, a single research lab, and anything else the game told me to. Am I just supposed to be maintaining buildings as they go instead of spending any time on it at all?

Appreciate the detailed writeup, I kind of slapped it together in around a day so I didn't have that much time to playtest the game very much. I tried to balance the game and kind of spread it out throughout more time so the actual game would have more gameplay. I can't update the game on the jam anymore but I will update the game to make the progression feel better. I think the point of my game was to maintain building until you can unlock a research lab and when you unlock a research lab you can get research for the Time Factory, but to get to this point of the game, you must either sacrifice more of your precious time to build more buildings so you can unlock/reach the research building faster or play it slower and risk the timer running out and you losing your run. I really appreciate the feedback and hopefully you had some fun playing this game!
