In 'One Way Out', players must choose their own countdown timer before each run. The countdown directly dictates the game's difficulty, reward tier, and the urgency to navigate tricky maze paths before time runs out.

Love the traps and the UI are nicely done, and the game is nicely done! I really like this mini maze game!
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the traps, UI, and the mini maze concept.
Nicely done. The trick doors and moving objects make for an interesting twist. Also, the menu layout was really nice looking too (which I appreciate!) Keep up the good work.
Thank you! I put a lot of effort into the menu layout and the level twists, so I'm thrilled you noticed and enjoyed them..!
Really good, interesting decision having the player choose their time. Good job!
I did get my fat butt stuck on a level and couldn't move!
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the time mechanics. Sorry about getting stuck— the player can only move freely when there is 2 block space..!
I think it’s really funny and fitting that you let the player choose their own time haha. It fits perfectly with the whole fake doors idea and makes the game feel even more unique. I also really like the character you created. Nicely done!
We would also love to hear your feedback on our game! :)
The cute blue blob character and that the custom timer felt like a good fit with the fake doors. I would absolutely love to play your game and drop some feedback..!
Funny little game that trolls you a bunch. May I ask why you let the player decide how much time they get? wouldn't everyone choose to just use max time? haha
Haha, valid question! You can choose the max time to play it safe, but the catch is your final score and ranking drops! Choosing less time gives you a much higher rank. It's all about balancing risk vs. reward. Thanks for playing
Fun game! The fake doors really got me hahaha, great job!
Gotcha! The fake doors claim another victim. Thanks for playing
Cool game! I like the idea of the trading time in exchange for a higher score
I wanted to give players a way to set their own difficulty while still rewarding them for taking bigger risks Thanks for playing
I really like the troll parts of the levels, and the high-risk, high-reward mechanic is interesting. I would love to see more of it in other games like this.
Glad you enjoyed that! Love hearing that the troll parts and high stakes hit the mark for you. Thanks for playing
Love the sprite of the character, super cute! All of the little tricks were funny, and I love the main idea of trading risk vs reward at the beginning. Would love to see that expanded into something larger!
Thanks Super happy you found the character cute and liked the tricks. Scaling up that risk/reward system is definitely on my radar for the future.
A really fun and interesting maze game! I really liked the twist when the doors suddenly disappeared. The music was great too!
It's glad you liked the switching doors. Thanks for playing
Awesome game! The background looks amazing, and Levels 4 & 5 were my favorite part of the experience. They were both fun and challenging.
Levels 4 and 5 are one of my personal favorites too—glad you enjoyed the challenge Thanks for playing
Pretty fun, the ability to choose your own time is very interesting.
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed the custom timer mechanic—I wanted to let players choose how intense they wanted their run to be
I enjoyed myself with this. The mazes were fun, and I actually enjoyed the fun curveballs you threw with each level. It was fun challenging myself to take as little time as possible, and I really liked the player model, the little blue blob is cute. Only thing I wish is that dying didn't start you all the way at level 1, but I guess it lets you balance risk vs reward for how long you give yourself. Great job overall!
Thank you for such a detailed review! I'm so happy you liked the blue blob character and enjoyed trying to beat your own times
This was a pretty fun game! I liked the short fast paced levels with nice surprises and the changing color palate as well, kept things fresh and engaged enough to reach the end of the game :D. Overall its a great game so good job :D
Congrats on reaching the end! I'm so glad the changing color palettes and surprises kept the game feeling fresh for you
I wish dying didn't bring you back to the first level. I was enjoying the first few, with only 20 seconds allowed, but then I died due to happening to choose the wrong path and was sent to the beginning. So then I set the timer to the max, 120 seconds, but it gave me C ranking for every level sadly. Then I got softlocked between two walls and didn't feel like doing the first level for the third time. I did enjoy my first run though!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm really sorry about that softlock bug between the walls—I will look into fixing that collision issue right away.
It was nice to try something well-known but with little twist!
Thanks for Playing. Yah a big little twist..
I liked the interactions when there was suddenly a wall or the door moved. Nice little game.
I Appreciate it and Thanks for Playing
Cute game! First started with 30 seconds and a few levels in I got too cocky and put 20s and lost hahaha!
Overall good game
Thanks for playing! It’s awesome to hear that changing the timer added a fun challenge for you
It's a simple idea, but it's pretty fun nonetheless. I like the progress t of the game, it does not let you get bored by deceiving the player from time to time
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed the twists—keeping players on their toes is exactly what I was aiming for.!
Fun game! The art is cute. Those moving doors really made me sweat))
I Appreciate it!, Yah the moving doors gives tension. Thanks for Playing..!
