Absolutely adorable game! The visuals and animations are gorgeous and I love the idea of being a photographer counting down to capture the perfect moment. You absolutely nailed it! I enjoyed it a lot. Great job! :)

Really cute art style! I was a bit confused by the controls at first but that's because I don't read tutorials haha

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you for playing! I know the tutorial was a bit confusing too. I’ll definitely improve it after the jam

very fun concept! (though that dog owner doesn't realise just how cute that dog is when he's giving the side-eye)

Some of the audio felt a bit loud, but besides that it was a fun little experience! good work!

Developer

Yes, the game music is a bit too loud. I didn’t have time to adjust it during the jam. Anyway, thanks for playing!

This game is very impressive! As a photography teacher, I found this to be very engaging and informative. I am always teaching my students how to be mindful of the photos they take, especially when trying to satisfy a client's request. I love the mechanic of setting up the count down for the shutter and have the ability to replay the clip. The art style feels like a classic Nintendo or arcade game. I would love to see this as a full game that would include other photography elements such as composition and lighting.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! Those are really fun ideas and definitely worth adding. I’ll consider adding them if I make a full version in the future.

Submitted

Of course! Wonderful! I can't wait to show your game to my students!

This is such a cute concept and WOWW the art is so amazing! The palette is so nice and all the animations are very well done. Really wonderful work!

Thank you so much for the kind words!

A great concept and nice artwork, but the photos taken were straight up not what was on screen when I pressed the shoot button. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! The photo timing is based on the countdown you estimate before taking the shot. I’ll definitely look into making this clearer.

What a cool and unique game! I love the mechanic of trying to plug in the correct time, although I did find it confusing at first. I only wish the game were longer. Wonderful work!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I’ll definitely consider adding more content and making the tutorial clearer in the future.

Dude wtf i've tried it 5 times and can never get any good picture, is it rigged or do I just suck ?
Very cool take on a simple idea, love the drawings and the monochromatic artstyle.
Good choice of music and sound effet, really good job !

try using the timer! count how many seconds from the beginning, then set the timer in the bottom left

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you for playing! Yes, you need to estimate the countdown time using the button in the bottom left before taking a snap.

Submitted

aaaah I get it thanks !

I love it so much! My team almost went with an idea similar to this but we decided the level of art/presentation to pull it off was a little out of our reach. You totally nailed it though! :) So cute. I loved getting the "my dog looks so dumb, my friends might think i'm dumb too" result haha

Thank you for playing! I made them talk silly because I thought it would be funny haha. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Submitted

good game! would love a longer version :)

Developer

Thank you for playing! I will probably make a longer version after the jam.

Submitted

Ohhhhhh this is too cute. I would like to linger on my photos a bit longer after each one, and perhaps have a little feedback immediately instead of at the end. Great work!

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the kind feedback! I’ll definitely consider adding more immediate feedback from the clients after the jam.
