Dripping with mood and style! Love the general vibe of the game, and it works well as a meditative activity. Nice work!

i liked the idea and i see what u were aiming for even though im not a huge fan of this type of games i think u did really good the graphics are amazing and well thought of and the sfx fit the atmosphere and the vibe u were aiming for, good game.

Such a clever idea. There is something beautifully intrinsically motivating to this, a very human feeling of "I just need to do that" and not knowing exactly why. It's meditative, it feels like I'm supposed to sort the beans. So I did.

Thank you for the kind words!

I'm not a fan of counting the beans but at least it looks really good.

Is there more to the gameplay? Or am I just sorting stuff haha

I guess the sfx were pretty solid and it had a really neat style, but I don't really know what more to say than that haha, good work though!

Visually it's the best game I've seen so far in this game jam. The game-play aspect is a little bit lacking in my opinion, but I still spent 15 minutes sorting all the beans and it was calming in a way. One bug I noticed is that the jungle sounds didn't loop, they just stopped at some point and didn't come back, but it should be an easy fix. Overall the game was really atmospheric and visually stunning.

Oops, thank you for the feedback and for playing!

Artwork and music are so incredible (although black beans oftentimes blend with shandows and forest sounds stop after ~30s). Loved the open-ended narrative - i see it as expectation vs reality thing. Had to try tree times because my beans kept getting stuck under the bowls, but finally i can eat my favorite black-beans-only soup xD

mb I didn't have time to fix the colliders. Thank you for playing!

Visually incredible game, while I do not understand why I am sorting little beans, I did it, and I liked it. Well done.

Did I just sort beans for 20 minutes? Yes. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. Super simple gameplay but honestly the best visuals/atmosphere of any of the submissions I've played so far. The dithering effect with the realistic textures/lighting works really really well. Great job!

Developer

thank you!
