I love the artwork, so silly and cute! The music was great too, very fun game! :)
Interesting how the lava raises and lowers so you have to time your crossing. The animations were amusing too. I kept dying after I got around 4 or 5 medicine so I gave up. One thing is that I wish there was a fullscreen option so that I could see the whole game.
Had a lot of fun with this. I died a few times trying to rush ahead of the lava 😅, but it always felt fair enough to try again. The sleeping animation and all the little details were awesome. Great work!

I really like the goofy sprites, they're so fun! The sleeping animation, while long, is pretty fun to watch the first few times, maybe being able to cancel out of sleeping could be good though? There were also some other platform stuff that could've helped, like coyote timing especially. Overall though, good job!

The artstyle is super charming. The platforming can be a bit janky (lack of coyote time, or when you're on a platform that's falling you're technically also falling meaning you can't jump from it) but overall it's quite fun.
Yeah, I honestly have no idea why that thing happens where you cant jump, because you can jump from a platform sinking like a sofa, but when the lava level changes it does the falling thing (and also with chairs for some reason), but I'll definitely consider adding coyote time after the jam, as it didn't even cross my mind, as I had about an hour before the deadline to playtest. I'm assuming you're using CharacterBody2D and is_on_floor() to check for if the player is grounded. In that case when the lava and thus the objects lower the player stays in the air for a frame before falling and getting grounded again. So is_on_floor() returns false. I believe AnimatableBody2D should force the player to stick to the platform as its moving. If you're already doing that then I've no idea.
Neat game! Very expressive artstyle. The platforming is nice but it felt like i walked off the platform too many times, some coyote time would've been nice.

The art style really steals the show. So quirky and fun, cracked me up while I was playing. Especially love the little animation of the dude putting the volcano in his pocket.

The art reminds me of a comic strip I watch on yt sometimes. Very cohesive throughout the game, HUD, etc. Not good with platformers, but this one didn't frustrate me as much, and I've managed to get far enough before starting to get killed by the lava too many times.
