I actually had a lot of fun with the movement, so nice job with that. I like the concept of having to explore the map a little at a time, but I wish the camera was a lot larger, because as it is, I never really knew where I was. Also, I never really understood what the hourglass pickups were — I thought those would give more time, but they did not do that, so that was a little strange. Overall, though, nice job. I had fun playing it, and the movement and exploration was fun.

Developer

Thanks!  It took a bit of time to get the movement to feel about right, so I'm glad that worked out.  The hourglasses give you extra time on the next run.  It could certainly be better communicated.

I had a bit of trouble understanding the upgrades and trying not to have motion sickness at first, i'm not sure what does that. But after a while I got a better ship, a better understanding at controls, and got used to the movement and actually found an exit. It well done and cool to learn the ways and mastering the movement of the ship. Good job !

Thank you!  There's definitely a bit of a learning curve.

What a beautiful game, I love the overall aesthetic, so clean and the music fits nicely as well! Also fun mechanic with the boost and the power-ups add a nice incentive to keep on the move and explore further :D

Developer

Wow, thank you so much!  Glad you enjoyed it!

A very fun game! Can be made even better if there was like a metroidvania element to it. (Like if the timer power ups can stack, etc). Also please consider adding partial boosts (Where even if you don't fully charge up the boost, you still get some speed)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!  Partial boosts are a great idea.  Could explain more about the timer power ups stacking?

I mean that as in the timer upgrades stay permanently on you, so the more you explore the world, the more time you gradually have

Developer

Got it.  Thanks for clarifying.

I like the concept. The time icons don't appear to give me any additional time :D

Developer

Thanks!  They should be giving you extra time on the next run.

That was hectic! It took me a while to understand that the hourglass pickups only extended your next run instead of the current one, but I was eventually able to reach one of the goals. Nice, simplistic artstyle and a cool concept!

Thanks for playing!  It's a strange idea, but I'm glad someone got it.  There's room to make that more intelligible for sure.

I couldn't tell if I was progressing or not, but I played through for like 5 minutes. I think that the game's whole premise of twisting the entire world to orient the player is pretty cool, but my only gripe with your implementation with the player's movement is that they should still be able to move/launch if they prematurely release the space key. But overall, I love that you kept it simple and to the point. Would make for a really cool game if fully polished.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!  Getting something from releasing too early is great idea.

It was a bit dizzying at times, but overall I enjoyed it.

Developer

Thanks for playing!  That's extremely fair feedback.  I wanted to try to make it less dizzying, but ran out of time for.  Certainly room for improvement there.
