This game is so nice to play, good mechanics and a well-designed platform. I really enjoy your game, good job

Thanks a lot mate!!

Great Concept! Really liked the idea of planning your abilities ahead of time, too bad i suck at platformers.

Developer

Ahah that's okay, you can train up, get on your hero journey! ;)

Submitted(+1)

Really cool idea for a game with good execution. Good job. :)

Developer

Thank you!

Outstanding Idea and such a freaking good delivery on level design and mechanics!! My congrats!!! The level "Jaws" got me tweaking man

Developer

Ahahahahah that's the first one of the "tough" levels, it is meant to start itching a bit eheh

Thanks a lot for the great feedback; I appreciate it!

Great level design on display here! The scoreboard is a great touch too, reminds me of Zach-like game and frames the whole thing as more of an optimization challenge than a puzzle platformer. Lots of moments like "wait, you can do thing with just two actions?! lemme try again"

Developer

Thanks a lot! Ahah that's kind of the vibe we wanted to go for ~ You dont have to compete but if you want, it is there !

The level design is truly worth studying; your mechanics are in a league of their own. I found myself completely engrossed whilst playing (I usually play through lots of jam games in one go and review them one by one, but this is definitely one of the few games I’ve revisited time and again). Thank you for all the time you’ve put into this game—it’s certainly been worth it. Congratulations once again! Well done!

Developer

Whaouw, that's probably the best compliment I've ever received, for real! (AI?! ;p)

Thanks a lot for the really nice feedback!

It really is commendable (as I’m not a native English speaker, I’ll be using a translation tool), but you’ve certainly done a great job!

this is a very intresting take on a platformer it took a little while to understand the main mechanic, but after that we had lots of fun! :)

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks, I appreciate! We tried to be gradual but did not expand into a full tutorial, maybe we should have! I did not expect feedback from our rocket stars, thanks a lot!!

Submitted(+1)

Nice idea! But it took me time to understand that i could switch abilites order. Nice and really enjoyable puzzles, GL!

Developer

Ahah theoretically you should get an "arrange the queue" prompt at the beginning of each level where you can !
I'll try to see what I can change ;)

Thanks a lot my good sir!

Really great mechanics and the levels were also fun. Great job.

Developer

Thanks a lot, glad you liked it!

That's so nice to be able to dash and then double jumb mid air, great game feels!

It is tricky to master, though; as a noob on platformers, I guess I could have used some kind of visual preview of the movement we have next (like a straight line for the dash, ect..)

Very creative and in the theme game

Congrats on the team!

Developer

Thanks a lot! We wanted to give the freedom to play and break the game the way they wanted!

Yep, that's very fair, I guess that's an accessibility thing we could implement in a full release. Same way I'm colorblind and platform rotation is yellow, moving ones are blue but that might cause troubles ahah!

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

Awesome game!!!

Developer

Thanks a lot mate!

Loved the concept and the leaderboard (it made it quite addictive to play). Also the movements feel really polished! Well done!

Developer

Aaaah thank you, I did tweak the physic a bit to feel good and ended up with aberrant values but... they feel good ahah (like 2600 for gravity, no idea what that represents xD )

Submitted(+1)

love the move sequencing mechanic! planning out your moves in advance instead of rushing against a traditional timer makes the puzzle platforming so satisfying. the balance between the puzzle-heavy levels and the platformer sections is really well done, and having this many levels plus a working leaderboard is insanely impressive for a jam entry. super polished and addictive game, great job!

Developer

Woohoo, thanks a lot for such a nice compliment!! I really appreciate it!

Thank you so much; we've been kind of at equilibrium with my gf, trying to balance the puzzle and platformer side, tho i went a bit crazy on the platformer side on the last 3 levels ahahah

Submitted(+1)

Cool game! Love the idea of having to plan at your moves. Feels very polished, well done!

Developer

Thanks a lot, had a lot of fun doing it!

Submitted(+1)

Well made! I love being able to choose the sequence before playing a level

Developer(+1)

Ahah if you ever want to change it during a level, you can press tab to restart the level and change the sequence ;)

Thanks a lot!!

Submitted(+1)

Very fun and very nice concept. I'm so impressed with how many level you were able to add in such a short time span, and a leaderboard on top of that??? very well done!!

Developer

Thanks a lot! I'm happy you enjoyed it!

Thank you! Well, considering the game is not doing anything crazy, by Friday night we had built the whole controls + platform + spike prefab, and after that, it was just a couple more scripts to rotate, move, toggle, etc!

We did cut corners on the player controller scalability script (match statement instead of strategy pattern, etc), but that's totally okay for a game jam!

And for the leaderboard, there's really nothing complicated ahah, it is just a REST API and I have my VPS, so deploying new stuff is a one-minute process!

Submitted(+1)

I liked the sequencing moves idea! That was a fun take on the theme!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!
