How does your game fit the theme?
You are driving in a car, and the GPS counts down the miles until you reach your destination. We wanted to explore the idea of "countdown as time limit" in an unusual way by having the in-game story continue (without the player) after the timer runs out.

Nice idea, well executed!

Interesting take on the jam theme. Kinda meditative. Like it

Very pretty! I love the way thoughts float and slide around. Took me a sec to figure it out, I had to read the description to know how to break the chain. Played it twice and got the end! Loved the little sounds effects of you getting out of the car, nice detail!

Really liked the atmosphere and meditative feel of the game. I do feel the mechanical aspect was hard to follow. Even reading the description below I wasn't able to grasp how I was supposed to connect things. But that gave me more time to consider the possible story the words were playing out. In the end, I got a fun experience from it so thank you.

Thank you for playing, and for the feedback! Since you did check the tips as well, is there something you felt was missing from the description? Or a particular part of the mechanic that was unintuitive?  Glad you had a good time playing in the end!

From the instructions, I think it is the confusion on what active vs inactive thoughts meant. Also, I wasn't sure if the text sometimes was white or grey, but that might be more of a "my eyes are only so-so" thing.

My big question when playing was why some things would connect and others would not. It didn't really click when I was playing through experimentation. I understood the "..." needed something after it, from the instructions, but I could connect two things without any "..."'s. And sometimes a connection wouldn't link and there was no real feedback on why.

That's all super helpful, thank you!

Got stuck a bit on the 2nd set because I did not understand right away that all thoughts must be connected together to create a single chain 😅 I love the concept though and the mood was on point, great work!

Very unique idea, but sometimes its hard to understand how line meant to be linked but its okey, visual art and vibes a really cool, its all looked so clean and really give late nights vibes!!! Well done!

Very creative idea for a game. The driving animation looks awesome!

I didn't really understand the thoughts, though.  I couldn't get past the 2nd set.  It seemed like it wanted me to connect all 4 together, but I wasn't able to do it. Then, I arrived at the destination before I could figure it out! 😂 😂

I like the game and the vibe! In fact, I got so "into the mood" that I got jump-scared by the sound effect of arriving at the destination xD

That is exactly the effect we were hoping to have with that moment! So, sorry for scaring you but thank you for the very nice feedback :)

This is an artistic piece. Mood was calm and satisfying.

Beautiful.

I think I wasted too much time trying to make it “correct” but slowly realized that there’s no such thing in this game.

Really loved the calming road-trip vibe. It took me a minute to understand the mechanics, but once it clicked it became such a relaxing experience.

such a tranquil game! very narratively focused, and i love how there's not necessarily a wrong answer to what you do, nice work :D

A beautiful and simple game, especially paired with the music it's been the most calming experience I've had so far. Aside from a little bit of initial confusion with how the game worked especially the colored phrases, you've captured an atmosphere that hits very close to home and it's just incredibly pleasant and relaxing. Great work and unique interpretation for countdown!!

A really reflective game! I like that the I could make connections to any thought even if it doesn't make sense, it gives a sense of freedom to how I want to reflect! Very atmpspheric game with a good interpretation of the countdown theme.
