This was a lovely little game with some clever puzzles! I really liked that you had to solve them using time as a limited resource :D I didn't really understand how to cross the water at first so that could definitely be something to elaborate on in a tutorial, but otherwise it was a really cute game with some great mechanics that really fit the theme, well done!

Extremely cute aesthetic and theming! Fun little platformer puzzle twist. Great work!

Great entry, good job! :)

I really love the idea behind this, the background is lovely as well as the art in general and I finished it!. As for the gameplay, most of the time I felt like I was mostly at the mercy of the physics to proceed, getting through a lot of the physics sections just boils down to spamming space and hoping for the best:

  • Sometimes I got stuck on the floor when re-entering the floor from the water, like my character was getting caught on a tiny pixel edge.
  • Also Fighting against the fans, for example, feels less about strategy and more about mashing the time-stop and praying the momentum lets you through this time (with the placed mucus).

It’s a great concept with the time-stopping and resource management, it just needs some polish on the collisions and physics interactions, maybe more momentum after letting go ? stepping off the mucus quickly kills that.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! That's indeed a bug with the collision detection when spamming inputs. Not intentional at all! I will take your advice into consideration and try to fix them later :3

I really like how much you managed to cram into just three controls, the levels are really well designed and the mechanics aren't difficult to understand. Love the spongebob aesthetic too. You can spam space to cheese a lot of the levels though, maybe if it took 0.5 seconds off your time instantly as well as the drain it would help combat that issue

Loved this game it is really cute!

Thanks so much for the feedback—I’ll definitely keep that in mind for future updates!

she's so cute & i love her so. the game plays really smoothly and made for an enjoyable & relaxing experience!

I love the coziness of this game. Smart and well executed! Love it! It took me a while to get the logic of the snail going in his shell that stops time and allows you to float. But once understood, it made the gameplay much more fluid. Thanks for this great work!

apparently [esc] stop time for good.

pretty chill game.

Developer

Haha yeah! ESC is for the desktop/exe build, but I totally spaced on disabling that binding for the HTML/web build lol.

This was an adorable game! The music was quite soothing while I focused on each room's puzzle.

ok wait this was really cute. I love the 16bit pixel art and snail, and the puzzles were great. I like the freeze time mechanic but there was a few levels I may have cheesed by spamming spacebar.. overall very relaxing and fun to play

Developer(+1)

Haha yeah! Maybe I gonna throw in a cooldown for that mechanic. ty

i would die for this snail

This is really cute. And it definitely gets a bit more challenging the further you go. I think its a great skill to present the game mechanics in a way that make sense without having to overburden the player with text and tutorials. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Yes! I’ve been intentionally leaning into designing engaging gameplay with minimal text prompts, haha. ty
