I did two runs: one to understand the systems at play (and read all those scams), and one to try and speedrun it.
That was fun both times~
The music was very nice, until it wasn’t, it just stopped after what I guess is the first loop on the web build (we have this exact problem on our game when switching/looping tracks), so I essentially played on mute.
Graphics are great too, just what you need, nothing more, and very rapidly cluttered when trying to manage everything. It’s not a downside in my book, the clutter plays into the old PC feeling.
If I can point out a few things: the warped HUD does not affect the real position of nodes, so interactions in the corners are a little “off”. And at some points, my loyalty points went into the negative; I guess it’s because they are not awarded, but calculated off of the remaining funds minus what was spent? It took me some time to understand the business marketplace, I thought I’d lose more by buying when the curves were at their highest and selling when they were at their lowest… so I got extremely rich by accident. :T
Good job for this game, thank you for the fun. :3
Thank you for your comment! Yeah there is an issue with the html export sadly, things we noticed after the deadline expired :(
For the negative loyalty, it's actually because we calculate money lost/60 but then when you gain money, you've got a negative money lost so the sign carries to the loyalty earned 😅 It was very easy to fix, but itch was pretty unstable when we submitted the game and we deemed the issue not critical enough because it happens in a phase where it should not be much of a problem to risk missing the deadline.
You're right about the business marketplace, most people get confused by it as it gives strong stock market vibes, which it isn't :( We should have designed it to be more intuitive.
Glad you took time to read the scams and then tried to speedrun it!! 🥰
Lovely little game <3 Very much enjoyed reading the scam emails. I will just say that the CRT shader was quite strong and did hurt my eyes. I couldn't play for very long :c But very cute and good little game!
Super addictive! I also absolutely love the UI! I can tell you put so much work into it, and it fits the computer interface so well! Nicely done, and interesting game concept the more I think about it lol
Thanks a lot!! 🥰
Turns out it very challenging for a billionaire to lose money. That’s meritocracy I guess!^^
Really fun game. I enjoyed very much the humor and the visual style. Its concept is also a clever twist on incremental games! I like that the last upgrade isn’t a free win, you actually have to pay attention on the market, which create a nice change of pace. The numbers evolve very quickly at this stage though, so it’s hard to quickly react when needed. I eventually won by surprised, everything just went away in seconds. x) It was a fun experience, well done!
Yeah it's quite a challenge!
Thank you for sharing your opinion 🥰 If you won thanks to a scam email in the last segment of the game, it seems that's pretty much everyone's experience, including me, emails are a bit broken thorough the game and it really shows in the last minute 😅
Brilliant game, very addictive! lol And a very interesting take on the theme too!
Thanks a lot 🥰
Very clean ui i had fun playing this great work
Thank you 😊
Man I should really start charging $8000/s for access to my RSS
I Wonn!
I am poor (for real lmao)
Well done!!
