Very fun and creative! And the artwork really fits the retro vibes. Just wish I could see lower so I don't fall onto spikes so often haha.
Thank you for playing, and thanks for the feedback, too! I probably will add some way to prevent having to blindly fall onto spikes in a future version.
I really enjoyed this game! The inspirations are clear but the wide window and the dodge / roll / jump made it feel fresh. I also loved displaying your vertical speed at the top, it all worked together well to dare you to take risky, long jumps and the quick restart meant losing wasn't that punishing. I think the loop of big fun jump into progressively more careful jumps as you get a higher score and loss becomes more punishing is very effective. I would have loved a song - the sounds that you used really worked, but adding a soundtrack could have boosted it further.
Thank you for playing and the feedback! NGL I really wanted to make a song, but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make a song that sounded halfway decent in such a short time. I suppose if I did include music, it would've sounded like the music from Downwell.
Enjoyed the gameplay and the loop of trying to get as deep as possible. I would've preferred to have some kind of scaling system where gravity and speed is increased the deeper you go since right now, it's too fast to be able to react to incoming hazards
Thank you for playing the game, and the feedback as well! I might implement an initially slower falling speed and more spread-out platforms in a future version to allow for last-minute adjustments while falling.
I liked the idea of it being a game where you have to calculate the best place to land, very good, congratulations.
Man! this gave me that "just one more" feeling over and over again. Good game!
I liked the simplicity of this. Its very pure in what it wants to be. Has a good gameplay loop and presentation which lines up with it very well. Its good!
This is really fun, short, and sweet! It's like a reverse doodle jump. Sometimes I get into situations where I can't see below me before the lava comes and I have to make a leap of faith, which sucks a little. Would be cool to see some upgrades to help get higher scores!
Thank you so much for playing the game, and I appreciate the feedback! An upgrade feature definitely feels like something that would be added in another version, and also maybe a fix to more evenly spread the platforms or maybe make a distinguishment between spiked and regular platforms.
Very easy to waste too much time on just another go(+infinity)! Nice job!
