Love this! Reminds me of "Into the Breach" with the pushing of pieces and trying to push them off the board! That's a big complement as Into the Breach is one of the few games I actually 100% completed. Good job! :D
I do think it could do with a small tutorial to explain the controls though, but it was easy to figure out (and if I read the description first that would've helped xD)
"Chess 2.0" XD, I really like the concept, and also art is so good!
it’s great
I don't think I've ever seen a tactics combat chess game like this. Neat
Quite the unique take on chess, i would love to play a more rogue final version, maybe with some board building mechanics? anyways i love this chess games and would spent hundreads of hours on this game if it ever get more.
this did not run well at all
fun puzzle. a bit hard to follow on large boards but still very fun. great art and great music
Great work! visuals looks pretty nice.
Congrats!
Really fun idea! I love the strategy that goes into the movement combined with the playing toward victory, even if I'm probably not smart enough to figure out how to actually make use of all the mechanics, haha. Very clever to show off the main mechanic in the title screen, and the tutorial wave is nice, though I would have liked more feedback to show when I lost, even just a little jingle, and the left- and right-clicking was a bit unintuitive at first. I also wasn't able to tell which piece was which at first, and I couldn't tell which of my pieces had moved on a given turn. The music was nice, though! I think the last and second-to-last stages of rot were also a bit hard to distinguish, which made the game a bit trickier. I do love the logo and the color scheme, as well as the wavy font. I think that, with a more robust tutorial and some clearer graphics, this game has a LOT of potential.
I love this idea and the art! Great job
The game is polished with its assets and animations.
I liked the gameplay, however maybe I am stupid but I couldn't get past wave 3; the enemies just combo me lmao
super cool game!! love the concept and playing was really fun. the animations and effects for bumping pieces off the board was really satisfying!
It’s a very good chess game that makes my brain think wildly, hoping for improved readability
