This is a Street Fighter style fighting game. The player queues up their moves, which are tied to the move count. Counting down the seconds of the round, so to speak.

Press F to win

Interesting concept, hope you can polish it more!

Fun little game, could be expanded on. I like the art style and the sound design.

Nice idea! You should expand this more after the jam. I love the art style.

Could be a chiller version of YOMIH, well done ! Just a bit easy at the moment ^^

Very creative idea of combat, it's a bit repeative but for the game jam submission, it's alright! The music and art is also neet, thank you for joining the jam!

Like others said, spamming hit kinda break the game. I'd suggest adding a block move for the opponents to prevent this. I think the concept has potential though with more combat and more moves. Good job!

Great idea.  I just ended up spamming punch. I think with some more design, this fighting system could be fun.

nice nice it was fun and i didnt expect having game like this

Pretty cool idea. Once I understood the Data tab, it was fairly understandable. Although once you close in, if you have more hp and just spam hit, you'll win anyway, so wish there was more variety, either of enemies, or of moves from the enemy. Great job!

The idea is quite fun, although it's impossible to tell what the opponent will do, so planning your moves always feels like a vague shot in the dark.

Finally, a fighting game I can play (I love turn-based). :D

Cool concept, and I really liked the aesthetics and vibes with the sounds. Well done!

The main idea of making fighting game turn-based works like a charm. It definitely could be a full game!

Cool way of making a turn based fighting game. I dont think the queen expected my special move of spamming F lol

Developer

Looks like I didn't either (I made the fight logic lol)

Interesting game.  I'm a big street fighter fan and alway thought it could be an interesting turnbased game.  This makes me think of turn based SF.

Guess what the inspiration was!

the queueing system is pretty intuitive and a fun take on the theme. the sound effects of the punches were super satisfying as well.  i thought the glitchy background was a little distracting though.

Developer

Ah, you're right, it looks a little different on the web. I'll have to scale it down in the future.

Very creative take on the theme! Really enjoyed playing this one once I got into it. Great job :)

Thank you! I just updated the enemy's move set to be way harder. I wonder if anyone's gonna win now...
