Congratulations on your first jam entry! The pushing mechanic is a neat idea! As others have said, the time limit was a bit short. One suggestion I would make for your next jam is to look into some of the built-in physics features of Unity (or whatever game engine you use next time). There were some issues with the red can getting stuck or the blue can going through the red can, which I think could be fixed by using Unity’s built-in rigidbodies and colliders. Great work and hope you keep making games!
I had to be surprisingly careful with every mouse movement! My brain knew exactly where the little bean needed to go, but somehow my hand kept having completely different plans hahaha 😄 The narrow paths made every tiny mistake feel dangerous, and now I really want to reach the later levels once my brain and hand finally become one. Simple to understand, but really addictive!
This is a good start for a young solo developer like you. Keep it up!
Pushing the character is clunky, but for a first game, I'd say it's very good! I remember my first game I made in Unity was just a white box moving and jumping, it was really hard to make. Keep up the good work! :]
Great stuff for your first jam, congratulations, as you've already got lots of constructive feedback, I would really like to see your entry in next years jams applying all the things people have spoken about, loved your creativeness around the mechanics. I would love for you try my game as well which is also a dragging based game and would love to know your thoughts on it
Good job on your first jam, the game is interesting and cute, I like the red guy's design. I agree with other comments, congratulations and good luck!
congrats on your first game jam! i agree that the timer was a bit short but the pushing mechanic is pretty cool! good luck on making games in the future!
Great job on this, congrats on making your first jam game, you should be proud! The timer was a bit short for me, I didn't manage to get very far. For game jams, I always try to keep the difficulty pretty easy - people are playing lots of entries and that way they'll see more of your game. You can always ramp up difficulty in later levels.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed your first jam and looking forward to seeing more cool games from you in the future!
Thank you very much You are right the game is too hard I am sorry about that because this was my first full game Three days was not enough time for me I just wanted to make something good enough to finish I really enjoyed this game jam Thank you for playing my game
Good first Game Jam!
