This is effectively just the math section of the show countdown in a video game combat format. Really well done!

I like the idea but the timer feels like an uninvited guest into a puzzle game. UI is clean, puzzles are hard but fair. Haven't done this amount of math since uni:)
We had similar ideas with very different executions. Love seeing that in a jam.
At first, I thought 45 seconds and having to hit the exact result would be impossible, but it turned out to be surprisingly doable (thanks to the accuracy mechanic). And a lot of fun!
Love the presentation with the small enemies, the overall colour palette and having to decide your way up "the spire".
A nifty approach to a roguelike. Reminded me of Bookworm adventures.
Didn't know if using a calculator or pausing is cheating or not, but used them anyways. Fun game, and I like both the quick math and roguelike aspects of it. Feels a lot like a game from an edutainment website like coolmathgames or abcya.
Great idea, happy to see another roguelike!
I really liked that the numbers were randomized only once and you could use all of them, made me think about the order I did stuff in, so I could get perfect calculations more often :D
Interesting idea. I am bad at doing math under pressure, but the game got me engaged enough to continue trying. Good job!
My only real feedback is that maybe it looks too much like an app instead of a game, but maybe that is a personal bias.
I invite you to play my game as well!
Clicking an item to pause the countdown was the only way for me to beat the boss. Wish there were more upgrades/items.
Rally cool take on doing quick Maths! One of my fav games in the jam for sure!
An interesting take, and it's impressive to see how well polished it is. I wish there was a way you could subtract from your previous result though!
It's an interesting concept, but having to solve maths equations under pressure makes this a difficult game to get into, especially since you have to win each encounter in a limited number of moves.
Clever and very clean implementation. I’ve heard of a game like this played with friends and dice, but I know none of my friends would want to try, so I’m glad I can play it by myself now 😂
I can’t do maths under pressure but I so nearly got to the boss. The presentation is fantastic. I realise it’s there for the theme but take out the timer and make it more of a puzzle it would absolutely be my jam
