Very cool I like the art and how dynamic the game seems. I think adding choices to it would also be very cool.
Thank you because this is just the proof of concept prototype thing and i'm liking the feedback from people liking it
thanks! and agreed, planning on doing something like that with a future iteration, and taking the GMTK "invisible choices" video as inspiration
A really good, complete game. I would have liked to play a few more episodes. I like the setting and the story.
Thank you for the comment and there might be more if there is enough people who would play it to make it worth putting in the time and effort to make it
one of the coolest games ive played so far, i really liked the artstyle and the short story! keep it up guys <3
Thank for the comment
awesome! glad you liked the style!
Big fan of the art, the music, and the vibes of this! Super duper appreciate the fact that you added little minigames into the narrative too - that always adds just an extra touch of engagement to a narrative game!
Thank you for the comment and it make me happy that there are people who like something i help to make
Thank you! Yeah, Planning in a possible future iteration or spiritual successor a way to tie the minigames even more directly to the story!
The art and music was awesome together!
Thank for the comment
this was such a stylish, quick-paced narrative game! i love the characters as well and wish we got to spend more time with them. great job!
Thank for the comment and if there is enough hype and people would play the full thing we might make this prototype into something full size
glad you liked the style and the characters! Thank you for playing!
This game was great! It's amazing how many people teamed up to finish it as well. I love the art style, the dialogue, and that final bomb defusing bit especially. You should be proud of yourselves!
Thank you for the comment and all of these comments make me want to turn this prototype into something real but I don't know if it would be worth the time or effort to do because I don't know if enough people would even play it to make it worth the time and effort.
This is the kind of stuff that people enjoy heaps once it's polished and finalised. It would be worth it even if nobody played the game honestly, just for the journey of making it. Just make it for yourself and if others play it (I would definitely), that's a bonus. I think you should go for it!
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it. I definitely think the tactile assembly under pressure gameplay is worth some kinda expansion, and I do have plans to. Maybe a spiritual successor? :O
The vibe and concept is really solid, curious to see where you take the idea if you continue to develop it.
Thanks for playing!
Thanks! and definitely, got a lot of ideas, but mostly involves at least more moving gun parts, like giving that pistol part a rackable slide
Short but fun game and story
We're glad you liked it, thank you for playing!
That transition from the tutorial was SICK. And Amy coming in saving the day with the three consecutive grenade is badass af 🤣
That limited colour palette and block colouring art style really does ties this whole spy theme together, the sfx choices was just the cherry on top. The minigames with countdowns into a thriller action VN is just *chefs kiss*. Really include us players into the hurry scenes there, makes it super engaging to play! And somehow it reminded me of the days I used to binge the whole Shift Heads series... i think it has that same kind of fun urgency.
The countdown was slightly too forgiving imo. If it was just a bit shorter the countdown would have pull so much more attention and hence have more pressure to it. But that's pretty nick-picking stuff because the overall game experience is great. Would love to see more!!!
Thank you for the comment and it would likely get fixed if this vertical slice ever get made into the real deal
thanks for the feedback! Very glad for that intro too, it turned out as close to what I envisioned in my head as possible. I'm also glad you liked the 3 nades the frantic but cool pin pulling sequence is what we were going for
I do agree with the timer, potentially lower time, with accessibility settings to increase the timer for less difficulty... hmm, maybe in a spiritual successor? :D
spiritual successor sounds like a funny cover for that setting hahaha I'm all for it!
The moody noir art and point-and-click storytelling make the mystery feel stylish right away!
Thank you for the comment
Hehe thanks!
Short but fun. Would buys this game if it had full release. Great job
thats quite high praise! thank you very much
Honestly, huge props to the artists. The art made the games super clear and easy to follow.
The art and music were both on point, the story was engaging, and the games that you had were fun, if not balanced on the easy side.
It felt like a very early version of dispatch. I'd have liked it to be longer.
Thanks for the game
Thank you very much
yeah definitely, in a longer version, I can envision the story directly tying to the assembling gameplay, and giving you different outcomes
love the art style! it was short but fun!
thank you! glad you had fun
I was not expecting mini games when I saw it was a visual novel! Fun experience, good job!
glad you liked it! thanks for playing!
I loved the comic art, and the puzzles are good.
I'm glad you liked it, thank you for playing!
Lovely game, love the first “mission” being presented before the title screen. Only have minor QoL changes I’d love to have seen, like being able to click to skip to the end of a text-scroll without skipping to the next message entirely. On that note, I feel like we all need an over-caffeinated sleep-deprived grenade-loving gremlin like Amy in our lives. On a spiritual level.
Thank you for the feedback, and I'm glad you like the intro! And ditto on the Amy love :)
Amy is indeed speaking like all us jam devs during jam time lmao
thanks again for playing!
my jaw is on the floor with that staging! the gameplay introduction transitioning into the title card was insane, and the artstyle works really well. i would have loved to see more, both from the story and the mini games. gg to the whole team!
Thank you so much!!! ill be sure to check out your game aswell!!!!
That was VERY stylish, great job on story and atmosphere! Also I like how absolutely unhinged Amy is, with pulling three grenade pins back to back. I guess that's what no caffeine does to you.
Amy's great :) Thank you for playing!
I like this game! It's simple and without new creative mechanics, but it's solid, polished, has a consistent style and is very finished. Story and wording is a little too long and fancy for a short jam game in my opinion, but it's still completeable in a rating spree. I'd sure like more of short timed challenges over story. Overall a cool game that I definitely quite enjoyed, great job!
Thanks for the feedback, and thank you for playing!
