Fun game with a fun premise! My only comment is, the text was a little too small compared to the screen size so I had trouble reading from time to time. The "Start" and "End game" buttons are also kind of small. But overall I had a lot of fun, great job!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback, it's much appreciated!
hahaha this is hilarious. as someone in the middle of planning a wedding, you certainly reminded me of some trauma haha
great concept!
Thanks for playing! You're one step ahead, at least you what event you're planning!
Dang. My event was horrible. And I went for clown in the end just in case the boss actually wanted one in the end. I did get a laugh in the end. This is the second story based game I've come across and it was pretty fun! I think its a great use of the theme. Well done!
Thanks for playing and glad you had fun! The event is different every time so, you never know, clowns might be needed...
Well-structured set of diverse challenges, tied together thematically. The writing is very polished.
I love the variety in the gameplay, but I wish the timers weren't so short; I felt like I barely had time to figure out what I was supposed to be doing before I had to move onto the next thing. (I realize this is the Wario Warez vibe, but it's a little too frantic for me. :) )
One small request, please include the controls in the Game Description. Also, it would be great to support WASD movement, whenever possible.
Thanks for your feedback, really detailed and helpful. There's a lot we can do to improve the minigames, so this helps. I'll add controls to the game description, thanks for pointing that out.
Haha what do you mean my church, canapes, karaoke, tarot, flowers event wasn't good enough for [redacted] ?! I really liked the mystery and the contrast of slow mornings mixed with frantically running around. I liked how the phone conversation and internal monologue was a really unique way of telling the narrative. really fun to play!
Sounds like a perfect event to me! Glad you enjoyed it; there's always a chance you'll organise a better event next time!
Very cute text based game, artstyle and sound is very solid, story is interesting and fun. I especially like the phone visual and messages effects. Mini games fitting perfectly, i like simplicity and intuitiveness. Very nice shot, congrats!!!
Thanks for playing and for the kind feedback!
The story is super funny in a toby fox-esque way, but I just wish the minigames had some more meat on them
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed the story! Also, thanks for the feedback, there's a lot we can do to flesh out the minigames sections.
Really cute gem :)
I enjoyed playing through this, altho I got confused by the control scheme: a tutorial would’ve been nice! (I still haven’t found the punch button) The story is funny, it made me laugh out loud :) Good job on your jam game! The clown part was unexpected 😭 I went back for a second time to get a proper event!
Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it! You're right, we didn't quite have enough to time to detail the controls. There is, in fact, no punch button (it's alluded to in one of the texts) but we would like to add one and flesh out the minigames in general!
I managed to breeze through some of the gathering segments, but the style is fantastic! My apologies for the pool party charcuterie grieving event
omg this game is so elaborate and I love the cutting back to the story, I thought it would be a one and done. amazing job, guys!
Thanks a lot, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The 'event' is different for every playthrough, and there's some hidden dialogue depending on your choices.
