As you have already said the game is quite buggy in WebGL, no idea why... I liked the concept, I would just like to see little more with it. Overall though good job. :)

It's my first time seeing this mechanic brought out in 3D, so good job breaking the mold! The models are kept simple (which I like since overly complex can get overwhelming) and the audio fits the ambiance very nicely. It does seem a bit unforgiving with the movement and countdown, since even a slight sidestep can cost an extra step, and I found myself losing at the edge of the exit multiple times. Perhaps there could be a more concrete definition of what a step counts as, similar to how 2D games can have tile spaces. In terms of level design, you did a great job introducing new mechanics to the player, and it had me eager for more complexity down the line.
Really good concept with a lot of potential! I really liked the game. I do think it need more levels, but otherwise it’s a very good game and use of the countdown.
Really cool concept. The step countdown is a simple yet nice way to implement the theme and leads to very clever puzzles.
I thought the count down on movement was a bit restrictive.
The steps mechanic kinda made me think of Blue Prince :)
Great game! Very creative take of the theme!
Very cool concept. I though the box was a bit "too heavy". I would often unintentionally slide to the side missing a step count while I was pushing it. I think it would feel a bit nicer if it was easier and snappier to push the boxes around. I really like the vibe of the game, good job!
Hiya! I tried downloading the game for the bug in the third level, but still couldn't push the block, unless I'm missing something?
I enjoy the concept though and the atmosphere of the game :)
Hi, thank u so much that u played my game.
As far as I understand, this is somehow connected with the incorrect setting of pushing the cube, apparently it depends on the player’s device :( So that why one player can push, another player have troubles with this. I will upload fix after gamejam with another polishing features.
Anyway thank u for the feedback! I will play your game tomorrow <3
Couldn't get pass level 4(? The one with the box and button). The box was slow and several tries being one step from the door I was out of ideas and patience.
Yeah, sorry for the bad experience with the third level(
WebGL version have known bug like "can't push" or "hard to push" with the box.
But if u have some time, u could play in PC version TenStepsDown-1.0.3.zip on download section. It will be nice to hear your feedback, I saw a lot of games in ur profile. I will check ur submition today, too.
I've seen a couple of games with the "every step counts down" mechanic but none in 1st person 3D - and none with such a cool liminal atmosphere! Absolutely my type of vibe. I really loved the environment design, and the audio fit the vibe well. Liked how you introduced new mechanics progressively too. Well done.
