Top notch artwork and sound. I loved how cohesive the art style was.
Wow such a good idea, I really like how the character and music also slows down when the time is running out :)
art and music is great, game play wise I am missing abit the connection to the feel
The most impressive thing about this is that you are all like 20yo. Great art, music and overall package; as evidenced by the high number of ratings.
The running around fixing stuff through mini games started feeling quickly like a mobile game without a lot of value = purpose = meaning to continue to play.
What a fantastic cute little game! Amazing artwork and great music! Good job!
I saw that the game had more than 500 reactions, and I was impressed. I’ve played it now, and I understand why! Great work, guys! The art, the music, and the overall atmosphere are all fantastic!
this is AMAZING, so lovely!!! it has this unique aesthetic and vibe to it that i absolutely love, it feels like a long-gone fairy tale, a fickle daydream, soft and fragile, distant yet reachable, i can’t explain it! i would LOVE to see a full game of this, the dialogue showed a lot of promise too and i would love to see where this could go. i would love to experience a full world of this in general!
gameplay-wise its simple but fun! movement feels great and animation too, game feel is almost perfect! i only have one nitpick with game feel which is the debris minigame, i wasn’t a big fan of having to shake your mouse especially because of how often it happens, its a little tiring physically! also i found that sometimes if you wanted to attack an enemy but were close to an interactable gear or object you would enter the minigame, that was especially an issue during the boss fight, but it wasn’t overly hard that it really frustrated me at all
anyway! since fanart was drawn of my game, i decided to contribute with fanart of hickory too! i’m not great at this kind of illustration but i did my best! i hope you like it!
Oh my god this is the cutest, thank you so so much!!! This made my day, thank you for taking the time to draw us such lovely fanart
I'm also really happy to hear how you felt about the game, lots of work and polish left for the gameplay but thank you so much for playing and enjoying our game and leaving us with something amazing :)
Showing the rest of the team immediately
This gets said a lot about jam games but I genuinely cannot believe this was made in only four days. Incredibly fun and engaging game. Very creative. The art and music are perfect. The style is really endearing. Its also very well polished, and the boss fight was great. Very well done
Amazing game and sounds !! I'll follow your next projects closely I love you aesthetics ! Great game, congratulations
Very nice, a lot of work and effort, the art is beautiful, the color palette is perfect, achieving this in a JAM is incredible, congratulations, beautiful and great work!
Omg its so good! Art, music, gameplay, even lore, absolutely epic! I just love this game in general, yes it is stressful and I felt like I was gonna die at some times but it was very enjoyable!
Incredible level of completion, clearly demonstrating the teams strong planning and coordination capabilities
Amazing game! A bit tricky to play, but also very fun and interesting. The narrative is great and everything is complimented with fitting music. Great job and good luck on the jam :)
If you want, please check out my submission too in your free time :)
Amazing narrative, art, sound and gamplay ! Too bad level 2 is already (I guess it's level 2?) too hard for me T0T, the slow down is obvious but also kind of too much : I was sooo close to finishing all repairs :0 . I tried two times but lose on the same level so stopped it here, but the game looks sure promissing ! Great job everyone!
Wow this game is really polished! If only there wasn't such of a punishment when losing I'd love to see a full version! This is easily one of the best games yet, I really hope to see more!
Also really cool that you made your own soundtrack, deserves 5 stars for that :)
beautiful art, i loved the narrative, wish the gear mini game was more of a puzzle! incredible work :D
This is amazing, really well done!
The art is insane on this game. Idk if its just me but there is a bug where mice can get stuck in crevices and I can't reach it. But holy cow this game is on another level especially for 4 days.
Nah what is this, stop smurfing on us! Unreal how good this is
I want a full game of this soooo bad! I know that this team is a university club team, but I still think that y'all could go for a full version, even if it's a smaller title. Either way, y'all did amazing work!
It's funny to hear this misconception! While almost the entire team is composed of university students, we actually all go to different schools. Most of us met in high school as a matter of fact!. The University of Waterloo Game Development Club was just one of the communities I'm personally involved with and they provided some excellent feedback and early testing.
Given the postive reception, we're definitely thinking about how we want to expand the game further!
