That's exactly how I do my housework irl, trying to optimize my movements and multitasking, and to manage my inventory (I only have 2 hands) haha. Fun game
I had fun playing this. I liked how the goal of the game is presented through a text message, and I think it would have been cool if the results had been presented through a conversation with the kid's parents, though I understand that would have required more assets and more work, which isn't always feasible during a jam.
One small issue I had was that my eyes got a bit tired when moving quickly across the patterned floor.
Overall, nice game!
Was interesting to learn a strategy to 100% the game, nice balanced challenge. We all were in that situation :)
I like the idea a lot! It took me some time to figure out where to dispose of everything the first time, but after that, I got a smooth rhythm going. Great game!
Very nice idea, I felt the rush of time to clean the house. The unknown areas at fast add to the experience and create that panicky feeling that you were trying to achieve, but as you continue cleaning you learn about your house more and more. Great entry overall
Please play and rate my game as well
Very fun to play. It could benefit from some progression through levels, and maybe some more controls/objectives explanations. Also the clocks on the walls don't move, too bad they're not timers :D
I did want to make a tutorial but didn't end up having time so I put the controls in the description. I admit the progression could've been better as well, maybe fully clearing a room before you can go to the next one or finding keys that open additional rooms, both cool ideas if I decide to continue development.
The clocks on the walls moving is also a fun idea, I might incorporate that in an update. ๐
Thanks for playing!
Fun Game! Mostly polished for what's there! Going thru the house and finding everything is fun. But I feel like the 5 minute time limit is not enough.
I agree that 5 minutes isn't very much time, but I wanted the game to feel chaotic and rushed. It is possible to fully clean the house in the allotted time, it's just very difficult to do so.
I'm glad you still found the game fun though. Thank you for your feedback! ๐
I never thought about becoming a professional cleaner before, but now that you mention it... honsetly I probably still won't :P
Cool little game, well put-together. I think it could be a bit tighter if the overall space was a bit smaller and more full, but a really nice speedrunner (or should I say, speed-cleaner) nevertheless!
Yeah, I don't think anyone's going to want to become a professional cleaner after playing my game. ๐คฃ
Thank you for playing. ๐
The idea is simple, but well-executed. Artwork is clean. I couldn't complete it 100%, but I still enjoyed it.
I'm unsure if anyone has gotten 100% yet, but the games end screen message is different depending on how clean the house is when time runs out. If you got over 75% then you did really well with 100% be more for completionists.
Thank you for playing! ๐
This is the only way my place gets cleaned. I had to play twice but I still couldn't get it all done. Very fun game!
Wow, Thank you! I don't know if anyone's played any of my game multiple times before! ๐ฎ
It is pretty hard to do everything in the given time, that's why I put different end messages based on how well the player does instead of saying they lost if they don't do everything in time (anything over 75% cleanliness I would count as a win).
lovely stuff! I really like the style and it really kept me on me engaged, even if I hate cleaning
I'm glad my little game kept you engaged. Thank you ๐
I really like this, simple idea, solid art, overall a nice bite sized experience. Well done!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. ๐
