Beautiful game, with great monster designs. It is well balanced and feels like it has a gradually increasing level of difficulty. As soon as I started playing, I thought that I needed to stay in the red zone and it would gradually decrease like in battleroyal, but after the first round I realized that this was not the case xd
Nice idea and cool execution! I was expecting the needles to block my projectiles at first, it could have been interesting too, although harder. Great game :)
This was fun! A great start on a great concept. It could of done with a bit more juice as I didn't really get that oomf out of taking down the enemies but that stuff is fine to come later and you have really solid foundations here. I would love to see this expanded, it could go places!
I really enjoyed playing this game! It took me a while to adjust to the controls but once I got the hang of it, I really enjoyed it! I would say one thing that tripped me out was the colour corresponding with the card. I stood on the icon that corresponded with the card, but then figured out I just had to stand on the blue section of the clock. Overall tho, w game ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
This is a really cool game! The art was nice, though a lil confusing like others said. I also couldn't really tell what pink did. I know it said it healed, but it didn't seem like my health changed, maybe im crazy though. Great job!
I think the biggest critique as others have mentioned is how the colors aren’t actually represented on the clock, but I did notice that the icons were there, which is good to have even if you did implement colors. I think having a visual for the cooldown of your secondary attack would be nice to have. I liked the card enemies floating down, that was a nice touch. The concept of a arena being a clock where standing in certain sectors gives different buffs is pretty creative. Great job!
I really like the concept of the game. Was a little confused why the ability cards said stand on certain colors but there was only red and blue on the clock face. The character design is really good and I love the way you have the card enemies spawn by falling down like leaves. It would be cool to see this further fleshed out and polished. Great job!
Neat little game buddo! The concept is pretty kewl, question btw: are the carrots meant to be able to bounce off the enemy and just lie on the floor, spinning with the clock xD because that would happen sometimes*
Generally though, really good implementation, I can definitely see it being a great game with polish! :]
Hi! I'm glad to hear that you liked the concept. When you say the carrots bounce off, do the carrots start to spin vertically or horizontally with the clock?
I assume you had some time to play around with the cards effects. When picking the cards you may or may not have noticed card effect zones rotating.
To try an answer this question :
I placed 2 sprite icons on the 2 different zones of the clock, representing the card effect zones in play. I did plan implement the zones to change colours corresponding to the picked zones. However, as we were so limited with a counting down time, this was postponed. Furthermore, I had to make sure that the minimal viable product was working before adding in additional features, which alone was quite complex.
If the carrots you saw that were spinning vertically, then that was not an intended feature, so a bug introduced into the game.
I am happy with what me and team team were able to produce. We had many ideas and features on the wish list. If only we had more time...
Ah no, they were not spinning vertically, I see, they're a feature of a different kind, I did not realize that! Thank you for the clarification, it makes a lot more sense! Great work amigo! :]
I like the concept of surviving rounds and then changing what your boon is, but I never saw half the colours for the abilities?
Interesting concept of countdown with the 3D terrain with buffs spinning with time. The gameplay is lacking polish and the only choices we see are always the same, but overall the concept makes it fun by itself.I'd like to see a more complete version of it.
Really cool interpretation of countdown!
i think the enemy animation is good but dont know what the things effect and didnt see colors to affect events
The way that the enemies enter, floating down from the top, is really cool
That's an interesting idea! You basically choosing "which power up do i need at the start of the round, an which power up do i need near the end?" I'd love to see this expanded with different waves of enemies that you have to adapt to.
interesting idea!
cool game but couldnt see other colors besides red and blue
The idea is fun, I quite like it!
The cards collisions are a bit off but they work out in the end.
The attack rate increase upgrade is op. Makes the game too easy.
There is also a bug with the attack of the cards, it seems like you used a collision area with a entered kind of detection.
If you go into a corner the cards will get stuck on you and you no longer get damaged.
It would have been nice to have a points system or something similar. But overall the gameplay is nice.
Well done! Keep up the good work!
Nice! Loved the vibe of it, with the cards floating down with different perspectives. Really creative.
Really cool! It reminds me a lot of "Alice in wonderland" really cool upgrade system too. Good job dude!
glad you caught that, that was part of our inspiration for the vibe :)
Hahah I knew I saw that rabbit somewhere. greath game :)
The game was decent; I don't have any negative commits.
