Yeah I understand that, scope of the game is too important in jams.

At first I was like "What the hell am I playing?" When I started to collect the pages ıthought it was like a Slender Man game. Then I saw the other guy chasing me and realized this is a Slender Man game!
Level is cool, running from an entity in a house filled with random objects. Some object had z-axis fighting, and some are problematic but that's okay for the jam.
Lack of sound is you biggest enemy I think. Even just a little tension music would make this game feel finished.
I collected like 15 pages and then the chaser just got me through 3 meters. Interesting experience.
Also 866 mb? How? You may need to optimize the assets cause it's too much. That's one of the reasonswhy many people don't play. It's hard to download, especiall ysomething with big numbers.
I suggest looking at pacify and slender man on steam. I like the concept, needs to get its own identity.
Beatiful art, beatifu idea. Executed with really cool ways. I guess this is what teamwork looks like. I like how you incorporated an actual story with 2D art and presented a universe.
For the combat I would like to attack on where my mouse is, otherwise I can't actually fight or kite. I need to get back constantly wich makes me loose too much time.
One problem with UI, "Enemies Incoming" appears too often, sometimes while still in action. Generally there is too much UI.
Aside from that I really liked the game, well done!
Very nicde idea actually. Other enemies getting stronger with each hit so you are supposed to trap them. I think it's a really cool idea. I'm not sure but it seemed there were multiple enemy types, if so you could use other color boxes. Even unfinished you can still give more hint to the players. Pretty cool!
Very cool game and cool concept of countdown. But time is wasted so much. I need to position in 10 seconds which takes 2-3 actually. After the attack waits another 5 seconds, enemy takes position in 3-4 seconds. Then wait for another 5 seconds. So just 1 round of attack wastes like 21-22 seconds of game time.
Maybe I could finish my turn early and get a buff depending on how many seconds left. Same applies for the enemy, so in the levels with boxes I might position myslef carefully and make it harder for them to reach assuming I have ranged lightning skills or so. And if you could remove time in between, the total time wasted suddenlyu drops to 5-6 seconds. Game would progress faster but not rushing the player. They can still take their time.
Overall, I really liked this entry. Something that I could play for hours with improvements. Well done!
I like that its gets overwhelming! But sentences like "Bubbles now", I thought beer could apply since it had foam but I believe it was champagne. "Getting born is tiring" -something like that- is asking for energy, which is coke. Is it coke or energy drink? When I started t obelieve it was coke all the energy sentences slipped past my mind. Then I realized what it needs. After playing for a few minutes I understood the rest. It was very confusing until that point. Nonetheless very cool game, very unique approach. I think the versatality and clarity is you answer to improve the game.
I really appreciate that you took your time and write this comment. The game is kinda overextending compared to 4 days so obviously I have missed many things. I thought some things to be obvious but when my friends played, most of them got stuck in the first room. So you are not alone! But I will fix it, make it more reasonable to figure it out.
I had many ideas about the prisoner as well. But all I could do was a simple knocking. I have just started to learn rigging, next time it might to do crazy things.
Thanks again for the comment. I would love to build and expand the game, glad you like it!
Very cool idea! Only one feedback: Since you launch the boxes from the sky they do not end at the same x axis. Which causes more physics challenge. If that's intention, then it's okay cause there is room to improve. But it feels too random to be a challenge. Other than that pretty cool concept with nice execution.
PS: After some levels it starts to lag, probably because it's on browser. Not your fault I think.
