This was a fun puzzle! The move-based mechanic made for a more methodical approach to the survival shmup genre, which was very creative. The bgm was a banger! A little bit more juice can go a long way on this one. Nice job!

How does your game fit the theme?
Your gun reloads slowly, so you have a COUNTDOWN to see when it will shoot next time

Interesting take on the theme! Strong agree with other comments I see here that I liked having the countdown be about number of moves rather than time to complete. Maybe it was just playing in the browser window, but the intro text was quite hard for me to read. Oh also I like the thematic through-line of the level names, it's attention-grabbing and memorable!
The game was fun and has nice music. I have two small gripes with it though. I feel that turning the gun shouldn't take a move as that drags out the game quite a lot. Although you could maybe add it as a separate feature like a specific railgun that makes it harder?
I also would have preferred to do the aiming on arrow keys and the moving on WASD personally :)
I like the interpretation of the countdown mechanic, it works really well and made for a fun game. As a fellow dev-musician, extra appreciation goes towards the banging track in the background. Good job!
It was an enjoyable experience. I really liked that you used the theme of the game jam as a game mechanic rather than just a time limitation to achieve some goal.
The music goes hard and has a good rhythm, which immediately made me want to play the game like a rhythm game.
The game has a good variety of enemies, which creates an interesting challenge.
I was surprised that turning the weapon in the same direction counted as a move. I felt that it didn't really fit the spirit of the game, where you're always supposed to move or change direction of the gun, even if you don't want to.
It was engaging and fun. Good job!
I was really surprised that a shooter with such innovative gameplay features such adorable crab villains. I'm not very good at shooters, but I really enjoy this game—great job!
Love the core mechanic here!! Making the railgun reload on a countdown forces you to plan every move carefully, and the turn-based bullet hell design feels super unique and rewarding to play through. The sound design is great too... A little extra visual polish would make it shine even more, but overall this is a really clever jam submission!!
Its a very interesting game, I like how it makes you think about how to "guide" the enemies while timing your shots. Like others have been saying, I'd love to see some custom assets in the future for the art. Also top notch name!
i like the design, it's intelligent, and the game is well balanced. the levels are easy but not trivial
Really cool concept, very enjoyable! Would love to see this get polished further after the jam!
Very interesting use of the theme. I would have made the countdown to fire a bit more visible and central, but as for a jam game this is really good!
Oh bombs do splash damage... ok, ok
...
The end is here but im eternal ;)
Fun game, congrats ;)
This is a really fun idea! I think the enemies should all take their turns at once, because I kept pressing buttons without realising the enemies were still moving around (or maybe some kind of audio/visual cue to let you know when it's your turn would suffice), but besides that, it was good fun!
It was a cool concept! Felt fun to play keep away and get the railgun to shoot at exactly when I wanted it to. As others mentioned, it would feel amazing to play if the turns resolved a bit faster.
