This is an interesting approach to the theme! Reminds me of some older flash games I have played, if they were made way more interesting and challenging lol. The serious, dramatic music suddenly being accompanied by the voiced cheering was kind of funny to me, and the rocket confetti was quite satisfying. Gameplay quickly became really chaotic, and I enjoyed it. Loved trying to see how bizarre I could get the rocket to look - seeing a rocket fly up with only 2 wings floating in air was really funny. Also that silly bottom left thruster just kept popping off 2 levels in a row I was losing my mind lol. Good work!!
This is what you get when you take the word "stressful" and run with it. Difficulty ramps up on the third level and everything was falling apart. Very enjoyable
This is a brilliant concept, I like the way all the tools are unique and how some require extra steps to recharge. But I do have to say that the gameplay can be rather frustrating as the parts tend to fall off faster than you're able to keep up with them, sometimes you will randomly end up with a broken part just a few seconds before launch and your tool just can't fix it in time or sometimes your vessel will catch on fire and become impossible to salvage. With some tweaks this could be a game I would see myself coming back to often, so nice job!
I think there's a lot of comedy in this gameplay. I loved how everything is falling apart and you're desperatly trying to hold it together. The concept is great, works great with the theme. I cound'nt achieve half of the levels but I'll definitely keep pushing it! Congrats!
Smart design that scales really well! I struggled a little in the tutorial as I wasn't sure exactly where to press to do the wires etc. but figured it out eventually. The cheering and parts flying everywhere was a nice touch
Played few levels did not expect engine to fall on the last second xD
I really like idea for the game, It feels very well thought out and polished in term of mechanics.
Great game GG!
This game is really cool, felt smooth while nervous to play and lots of levels. Good composition with the assets you used them well :)
I had trouble seeing where to click for a repair sometimes although for some levels having everything all scrambled up and figuring this out is part of the fun. Just wish the white lines or the color animations on the ship were a bit more noticeable.
Kudos for the level design too, I liked the variety and mix of everything falling at the start, and things falling through the level.
All in all a really good entry good job !!
played the first level and i already feel stressed and got sweaty hands, simple yet stressful
Great concept, a very interesting and unique take on the theme, great art and audio (slightly too loud)
overall an impressive entry for the jam, well done! :D
The confetti and people cheering made me lol for real, gg
Ha this was really fun and stressful, gets hard pretty quick. Good job, amazing how much you managed to cram in within the jam time.
Very similar to my team's second choice when we were brainstorming! Fun and challenging, and the spaceships look super cool!
Fun game! Felt like herding cats trying to keep all the parts on my ships lol.
Tons of levels for a game jam entry, and a bit of replayability involved trying to get more stars.
The artwork seemed a little sci-fi which is odd because the mechanics are obviously very realistic and this is definitely what happens during normal rocket launches.
I think the only thing that felt a little off to me was sometimes you'd just get screwed by RNG with too many things falling off too close to the launch time (at least for me!).
Overall a solid entry, great work.
I appreciate the input and feedback! Glad you liked the game and herding cats is a perfect analogy lol.
Items dropping might seem random but they actually aren’t! They’re broken into groups and each group has a progressing drop rate with predefined burst. Nothing will drop within its (repair time *2) + 1 second
Very creative idea for the Jam! Thought it felt simple at first, but then I got quickly overwhelmed 😅. Definitely got difficult. Nice job
