Overall, really creative!

Its a bit well-polished and while I did skim to get the review in time, I already love the dynamics at play with dodging and weaving, the awesome count down as you strike and general incorporation of the theme.

I knew I wanted to check this out even if I had [less than 10 mins remaining], and itw as worth it!

Overall thank you for submitting to the game jam!

Thank you so much! I will try your game even if the voting period has ended. If you liked the game, know that we kept working hard while the voting was ongoing, and we will release a new update soon. We are also planning a full release on Steam!

Very fun and smooth gameplay. Sometimes it lagged for me though.

Thanks for playing! We are aware of performance issues, mainly on web browsers and Firefox. Downloading the Windows version fixes most stutters, but we are working on optimizing everything right now!

I saw Marnix from BiteMeGames playing it and it seemed fun!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Believe it or not, despite Marnix's advice, we've decided to go ahead and add a roguelike mode before releasing the game on Steam :D

i tried this on my laptop and then plugged into my monitor so I could lock in...

it's really impressive you were able to create such an instrinsic hook and feel to it within the jam. not only best 3d game I've played so far but also v creative. i adore the responsiveness (flashes on enemy hits, etc). great work!

Developer

Thanks for the compliments! Yes, juice and game feel were definitely our main focus during this jam. We really loved choosing this neon Y2K wireframe look, but honestly, it also made it much easier to create the assets.

I love how you made the game fast paced! the game would really benefit a rechargeable dash!

Developer

We were actually debating whether or not adding a dash would suit the game. We ended up not including it for balancing purposes in this game jam version, but we will definitely add some movement abilities down the line. We are also planning on releasing a more complete version of this game on Steam.

This one was a surprising find - with the character movements reminding me of old school Madness: Combat slightly, and the fast-paced action feeling surprisingly smooth and intuitive. Some in-game controls would have been helpful, but the actual core experience? Really well stylized. The stylization, the big bold words appearing in your face with every cool action, the flow - it all works really well for a game thats essentially about throwing boxes and clicking on things.

Some extra weapons would've been nice, but this took what it had and polished it up really well. I can't state enough just how stellar the overall presentation is with this one - with a surprising amount of depth when it comes to the different attack combinations, and using your environment to your benefit.

Really good work, especially with a timeline of four days! This could be something really fun.

Glad I managed to get on the leader-board, actually matching the same score as *checks notes*,  Adolf.

Seriously though, so enamoured with this one! Superhot stylings meets GMTK! Love the geometric visual style, the gameplay is so fast and crisp and something about chucking cubes and hearing the tinkle of breaking glass is so seratonin-releasing. The UI and visual styling is so on point and I appreciate the way the enemy health is counting down right in front of you, keeps it both stylish and intuitive!

Love it!

mobile controls aren't perfect but the game is impressively optimized for it. 9/10 :D

Impressively polished and super fun gameplay. One of the best I've played so far in this jam.

This is really polished for a 3D game, great job on that. I liked the health indicator for the enemies, really stylish and worked with the sound design well.
