How does your game fit the theme?
The main mechanic is about counting moves to solve puzzles. Our characters and levels have different turn counts that needs to be taken into account. Player can also spawn multiple clones at different time, each with their own count.

The fact that the game starts right on the title screen is great, and the music that kicks in is such a bop and really sets the mood. The controls are also very intuitive, and I love the fact that they are progressively introduced as you play, as opposed to being thrown at you all at once. The only thing I found a bit difficult to read was the narrative of the character that appeared above their head; perhaps a supporting background for the text would've made it more legible. Otherwise, the art ties the concept nicely together!

We find a jam is always a great way to learn a new skill and of the team members wanted to learn video editing during the jam. Perfect opportunity :)

The game is very polished. The artwork fits perfect with the game and i really liked it. The level design is on point, well made guys!

Man I really wanted to finish it but I just could not get through this one level with the button in the middle and the light thing on the right. I'm not complaining about the difficulty, I'm just not all that good when it comes to puzzle games. The visuals and sfx were really good, it has this dreamy quality to it, I couldn't understand why the blue tiles were lighting up, until I realize that it was showing my line of sight. That made it really helpful to prevent any paradoxes from happening. The starting at a different time mechanic was also really good, very mind-boggling but it was an awesome mechanic that added a layer of difficulty, and it harmonizes very well with the rest of the game.
Hey, thanks for playing our little game! If you’re really curious, you can use debug commands F1/F2 to navigate through levels (It might break the ending tho).
And do not worry, the problem is not your skill at all. There’s just a lot going on with this mechanic and we unfortunately didn’t have time to do all the levels properly to teach the mechanics smoothly. For example, You can pickup the orbs on the tile in front of you with E and throw it with F, but we don’t teach that very well haha. Thanks again for playing :)

Nice and tricky puzzle game! The mechanics were a little too confusing for me, and I couldn't beat the game. But overall, the visuals and audio were beautiful!
Thanks a lot for giving it a try! We’re definitely missing some levels to teach mechancis more slowly :P For others coming after, you can skip between levels with F1/F2 if you want to test other levels!

The only thing I'd suggest is slightly clearer instructions it took me a little playing around to actually figure out what I was able to do.

This is a gorgeous game, love all the effects at play, wish some of the mechanics were taught a bit more intuitively, such as being "spotted" which initially just showed up as a bit of a jumpscare lol. Overall though the audio is great, visuals are great, colorwork is especially pleasing, dialogue does what it needs to do, and this game rocks, Hour Guy is also just a badass name for a game.
