I was given the first illustration from the cutscene to work with; the first two chords came naturally in my head before I expanded on the theme. I haven't played Tears of the Kingdom, but the flourishes in the piano (and harpsichord in the intermission theme) were actually inspired by Trevor Alan Gomes's arrangement of Scarlet Forest from Deltarune.
