How does your game fit the theme?
Every patient arrives with an Estimated Time to their death and a cure to save ANYONE. You are constantly deciding how much of that countdown you're willing to let expire before intervening. How much you let the count down go defines your morality.. But waitling longer also grants you more Glory You are to choose between being Immoral to get glory or curing patients early ( Read Description for better explanation :P)

Although my laptop absolutely can't handle web 3d for any good reason, I did manage through to experience the kewl game ya made! x]
Quite the unconventional take on "countdown", wouldn't have ever thought of such an idea!
Gotta ask, does it not end if you keep curing them? 🤔
Great game buddo! :D
uhh actually no :P
If you keep curing patients, for now the game just keeps on going xD
There IS stake if you engage with the story by waiting till the last second, but i didnt really wanna punish the player for just being moral lmao
even tho that made it a whole lot more confusing lmaoo
I will need to fix that so maybe you just grow old as a moral person and get a good ending or something if you treat patients just on time (or iif you got any other ideas :P would love to hear em!)
Smh I wish i started and used the whole time now, this really came out unpolished XD
Anyways, i did enjoy making the game anyways :D
And glad u found some of it interesting aswell :P
Thanks for trying it out!
I really liked the game's concept and how it fits the jam's theme within the time constraints! Great job on that! ;D
The plot is fire, it really came in! I really like that the game does not punish for a moral choice, but gives buns in any case - it's a cool move.
But, IMHO, a little more chaos is missing: for example, distracting events - so that you need to monitor not only the monitor or valve, but also something else. Then it would be even more tense and interesting to play "in an honest way".
Otherwise, it's great, time flew by. I love watching the numbers grow :)
By the way, I'm from Discord - I saw your post there and couldn't resist.
And since we are both on the subject, I would be super pleased to hear your opinion about my project. If you stop by and throw a couple of thoughts - I will be very grateful!
Eyyy, thanks for trying it out!
Im glad you found it fun :D
I do agree that a little more chaos would def add more player interaction in the game which its def missing for now
Ill have to think more about it and maybe will end up working on this later :P
Anyways, sryy i couldnt rate your game aswell, but when i can ill try it and leave feedback anyways!
Thnanks for trying it out!
wow!! really cool concept, love the moral dilemma of choosing how long to let the timer run for glory vs saving the patient early, that's such a clever way to build a whole game around the countdown theme. controls took a minute to click but once i figured them out i was hooked, kept wanting to see how far i could push it before curing. the whole idea of "watching the numbers go up" is weirdly addictive lol. honestly, it is this is a really solid and thoughtful entry, great job!
MAN, Im SOO glad you not only liekd the idea but also found it fun!!
Tbh Im not the most proud of how i handled the gameplay loop, couldve made it much more tolerable but im still glad someone managed to find it fun :D
Thnaks alot for this comment and trying the game out!
I really like the idea, it was hard at first to understand the controls but once i figured it out it was great. Good entry :) nice
Eyyy, Im glad u liked the idea :D
and yee i agree, i def shouldve taken some time out to explain the controls better haha
I think the moral dilemma is a really interesting driving force for a game ^^ was very interesting to play, however my camera kept tilting down without me moving my mouse which was a bit confusing ^^”
Ohh lool, I havent encountered that bug yet xD
If there was anything else u remember or if you could tell me the steps to reproduce the bugs, Ill be glad to have a look at that
Anyways, Il glad you found the idea interesting :)
Thanks for trying it out!
I’m unsure how the issue happened in the first place because I cannot reproduce it ^^” I started the game (did not have any issues with the mouse focusing on the game) and I didn’t do anything unintended I think ^^” However, I did have to charge my mouse since then so maybe it was caused by the low battery in my mouse ^^”
Ohhh okok, Ill keep an eye out and test a bit anyways :P
Thanks Alot for informing me about it :D
really appreciate that!
Took me about 4 patients dying to work out how to lock the mouse to the screen and work out where the valve was….. after that though, really solid idea! Needs some extra bits going on/modifiers happening more often though as some of the countdowns were like 20 seconds of doing nothing but watch the screen.
Haha real, I really shouldve focused more on a simple tutorial to atleast tell the controls to the player instead of relying on using the desc for that.
Also true, making the timer 25 secs long in some cases was DEF a mistake xD
Especially with nothing else to do lol
I had some other ideas aswell but really couldnt work on them due to starting so late
But anyways, Im glad you managed to get around the flaws and experience the game :)
Thanks for trying it ou!
i love the story of this game!! having the player get rewarded regardless of their morality is a nice option, though i think the game could benefit from having more things to keep track of. maybe some other events that could distract you from the monitor or clicking the valve that could make the moral playstyle a bit more engaging. regardless, it's a nice fun time! love watching the numbers go up :)
I very much agree with you on the part that waiting CAN get a bit too long haha
I changed it down so the max time would be 15, but reverted it last minute for some reason :sob:
I had some more ideas which i couldnt impllement as i started on the 3rd day lmaoo
So there wasnt much i could add and also polish :P
But im glad you were able to enjoy the short experience anyways!
Thanks for trying it out!
I couldn't do anything except watch when the patients started dying because I think the controls are bugged :( the vibes are great though and I love the models
ohh i just got that bug myself right after i saw u mention it :sob:
but i think it only happens sometimes cuz it went back to working right after a reload :P
so thanks for trying it out and reporting that bug, ill look into it for later :D
i also added some context and a guide + controls of sorts for starters if you end up trying it again :P (no pressure ofc)
oh also.. i cant take credit for the models.. as i got most(like 90%) of them and ALL the music and sfx from asset packs..
i havent updated the desc to have the credits yet, will do that in the morning as its quite late now haha and i have the list of stuf on my laptop
thanks again for trying out the game :D
