How does your game fit the theme?
We use a countdown clock as part of the core mechanics (the clock is the way to interact with enemies), in addition to multiple countdowns for combat with enemies.

A really fun concept ! Having to strategize on which timing you click on the wheel to fight was a really nice idea ! If we could see the enemies in more details (and the attacks) I think it would get extremely satisfying (but I get that in 4 days it might have been hard ^^). Congrats on the game ! :)
Sorry it didn’t work for me
Hey, Thanks for giving it a try. When you say it didn't work, do you mean the game didn't load or you ran into a bug? Or do you mean it just wasn't your kind of game?
I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me a bit more. That way I'll know whether I need to fix a technical issue or improve the gameplay. Thanks in advance!
Great game Well done i really enjoy it
Please rate my game Flip it
i like the game , is the music from hexagon force ?
Hey, I'll add the music credits to the jam page so everyone can see them. I hadn't heard Hexagon Force before, but you're right, they do sound pretty similar.
The menu music is "The Arcade Detective" by Eric Matyas, and the gameplay track is "Arcade Fast Flow" by Trinnox.
Thanks a lot for playing. I really appreciate it.
Ohh cool, the sound is pretty similar to Hexagon Force . can you try my game pls " electro "
Almost felt like if you took the paper mario attack mechanics and stretched it to the extreme! Very engaging for such a simple concept. A little more auditory feedback when pressing buttons and this could be high quality!
Hey, thank you so much. I'm actually a big Paper Mario fan, but I hadn't made that connection myself. Now that you mention it, I definitely want to take another look at those games because there might be some really good ideas I could learn from for a post-jam version.
And yeah, you're absolutely right about the audio. It's definitely one of the weakest parts of the game. I should've managed my time a bit better so I could add proper sound effects before the deadline.
Thanks again for the awesome feedback and for taking the time to play. I really appreciate it.
It's cool that whole game takes place in the clock--nice use of the theme.
I really liked the concept, feels like it could be a full game if explored. I think some sfx could have been great for feedback on what I’m doing. And maybe some way to punish spamming. The clock rotating between rounds was a nice touch.
Hey, thank you so much. I'm really happy you liked the concept. I'd definitely like to go through all the feedback and see if I can make a more polished version of the game.
You're totally right about the SFX, that's definitely one of the weak points of this version. I just ran out of time at the end, so that's on me. The spam issue is also something I need to rebalance, since a lot of people pointed it out.
Thanks again for taking the time to play and leave such thoughtful feedback. I really appreciate it
I think the song borders on being similar to like 4 main level Geometry Dash level songs. Nice game tho!
You're right. I actually didn't know those songs, but I can definitely hear the similarity. I'll update the game's description to include the music I used and where I got it from, so everything is properly credited and easy for everyone to find. Thanks a lot for playing and for pointing that out.
The transition effects and the visuals are PERFECT! It's well-polished and fun to play. I liked the concept as well. Had fun, good game.
Hey, thank you so much. I'm really happy to hear that, I'm glad the visuals and transitions stood out to you. I spent a good amount of time polishing those parts, so it means a lot that you noticed. I'm also really happy you liked the concept and had fun playing. Thanks a lot for giving it a try.
Some of the best artwork and audio etc I've played in this jam so far. But maybe add some stuff to prevent the player from blindly spamming attack (maybe set a limit to the amount of clicks per level?). But still I enjoyed it a lot!
Hey, thank you so much!. I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the kind words about the game.
You're totally right, and I've noticed the same thing from a lot of the feedback. In several levels, making decisions doesn't really matter because spamming the attack is just the easiest and best option, which definitely isn't what I was going for.
I really like your idea of limiting the number of clicks. It could be a nice way to discourage spamming without taking away the core mechanic.
Thanks again for the great suggestion and for taking the time to play the game. I really appreciate it.
The art and audio are completely top-notch, and the idea is super cool! That said, the game feels a little too easy. Enemy kill feedback could use a bit more punch, and there isn't much tactical choice involved, making it feel more like a mindless button-mashing game that lacks replay value once beaten.
Adding a bit more challenge and creating situations that force real decisions would take this game to the next level! Still a super solid job though!
Hey, thank you so much for the detailed feedback!. You're absolutely right, the balancing is definitely one of the weakest parts right now. The idea was that the enemies abilities would make each fight require more thought, but it didn't end up having the impact I was hoping for.
I really like your suggestions, adding more situations that force meaningful decisions would definitely make the gameplay more interesting, and I completely agree that the enemy kill feedback could feel much more satisfying. There's still a lot I could improve.
Thanks again for taking the time to play the game and leave such thoughtful feedback. I'll definitely keep it in mind. I really appreciate it.
Absolutely love the concept and i hope this gets expanded more
Thank you so much!. I'm really glad you liked the concept. I'm going to take all the feedback I've been getting and use it to make a better version of the game. Thanks a lot for playing and leaving a comment, I really appreciate it
It's a good idea and the execution is very clean ! However there is no real strategy for now, as you can just simplify into "don't click red and grey" and forget the whole combat thing. Maybe more emphasis on the clock's direction ? like the boost could upgrade the next slot in your spins direction ? Anyway it was nice !
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback!. The idea was that the enemies and their abilities would change the way you approach each fight, but it looks like that didn't come across as strongly as I hoped. I really like your suggestion about making the clock direction more important, and I'll definitely keep it in mind if I ever make a more polished version of the game. Thanks again for playing and for taking the time to leave such thoughtful feedback. I really appreciate it
Neat idea! A lot of the levels just let me spam-click to win, but there's a cool concept here that could be fleshed out into something. A creative take on the theme for sure.
Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback! You're totally right, the balancing is definitely off. I'd need to spend a lot more time tweaking it to make the gameplay more interesting and challenging. I'm really happy you think the core idea has potential though. Thanks again for taking the time to play and leave a comment.
Really fun and unique gameplay!
Thank you so much! I'm really happy to hear you found the idea unique. That means a lot to me. Thanks a lot for taking the time to leave a comment!
Really fun idea ! some more sound feedback would have been great.
Hey! Thanks a lot! You're totally right. That was actually the last thing I wanted to add, but I ran out of time before I could implement it. I think some proper sound effects would have made the game feel much better. Thanks a lot for the feedback, I really appreciate it
