How does your game fit the theme?
In a Mascot Minute integrates the theme of “Countdown” in both its narrative and gameplay. By centering on Sanrio-esque mascots who are currently experiencing their “5 Minutes of Fame”, we explore the inevitable end of popularity. Each undesired mascot’s return to center stage acts as an invisible countdown that the player must monitor and maintain. The constant demand for pictures gives an explicit countdown, urging the player to arrange the set with it in mind before the camera goes off.

Simple yet super effective art direction, eveything ties together perfectly.
My only gripe is the "cranking" mechanic that gets repetitive and a bit hard on the wrist for me.
Adorable!
i really like the concept and loved the artwork! i think it would have been nice to have an alternate way to crank the wheel as well as my mouse kept hitting the corner of my screen. additionally, after a couple of photos, it might be cool to have additional mechanics in how the characters behave or abilities. really great job!
Absolutely love the implementation of the theme and the artstyle here! The music fit the rest of the gameplay really well and everything just felt very polished and cohesive. The gameplay was pretty fun, feels like something that would have worked amazingly on something like a Nintendo DS with the crank on the bottom screen :D
Cool aesthetic and game idea, very creative. My only complaint is that I'm not sure I got how the countdown takes place. It seemed to only show up when I had already arranged all the items. Maybe I just missed some of the mechanics. Anyway, congrats on a super cute entry :)
It took me a loooong while to get that the foreground layer also had decorations, not only the mascot, and I though the game was stuck on level 2.
Once I figured it out it was very nice and cute, congrats :)
music is actually so elite. overall super cute vibes and great idea. i feel like i'm reiterating but the mascots are so cute (behavior and art). great job!
Nice and cozy even with the time pressure, artstyle is lovely, I really enjoyed this.
The mascots are very cute and sounds they make are perfect! My only suggestion would be to add an alternative way to turn the crank (like maybe using arrow keys?). My mouse kept going out of the game window because of how close it is to the corner, so it was a struggle to turn it fast enough while staying within the bounds of the game window.
Cute game! It's the first time I've played a game with this kind of concept. Good job!
omg its incredibly cute, i particularly love the sound effect of ms stroop running back to stage and they both look so cute!
super cute idea!!! i love the art style and it reminds me of something i would love to play as a kid :))
It's a very cute but kind of sad game. Seing the mascot trip while trying to go back in the spotlight breaks my heart.
The artists and sound designers did an amazing job. The mascots sounds and look like ones I like it a lot. The decors are also good and the art style is consistent between all assets. Loved it !
Very cute aesthetic! I love the style and vibes of the game! It was fun having to juggle the mascots around and hoping they don't photobomb the current scene T-T really cute game! :D
