I got a score of 28! Not sure if that's good, probably not but I had fun and that's what counts! I like the idea of slowly modifying the level over time. Maybe it could have changed even more dramatically. But it was cool like this. At first I didn't get what the point is of collecting the thingies but I just kinda accepted it until at some point it gave me my score and then I understood.
Would be even cooler if some kind of "new"-effect would show up on the newly spawned spikes so you can see what changed more easily. Like maybe they could blink or something.
Good work on the controls, it felt nice to play.
Thank you for playing, and some great feedback, Thank you very much for playing
I like the concept of the level getting harder the longer it takes to complete. I had a lot of fun once I got the movement down. Good job!
Cute - I like the crunchy music!
nice core loop
Visual effects and the audio add color to the game. The idea is also really creative, I like it very much. Had fun!
very fun game
Nice game!! I got 31 point first try
The game is really creative, but there’s an issue: the character’s jump might be a bit too strong, and the jumping feels a little off. When the character jumps onto a new platform, if you keep holding the jump button, the character will jump up again.
The jump again was actually intentional so you could speedrun, if you don't want to jump again just stop holding the button before you land. And the clunky feeling might be because I made it so the longer you hold the button the higher you go, so a short tap just makes you do a little hop or in your case holding the button down would result in maximum power. Thank you for the constructive criticism.
Some spikes spawned at places where it was impossible for me to get to the next coin, I mean probably the spike placement every 10 seconds is random, but it is a problem. The part i liked the most is the music on sync with the clock, did its work on mantaining the pace of the game. Good work!
Thank you for playing the game, I made it really hard on porpus because I like rage games. And the spikes are not random; there are the exact same every time. I play tested every single stage personally to ensure all the star positions are possible, it does get extremely difficult near the end though, there is one spike formation I threw in there that needs to be perfect within two frames to get the star, I may have gone over bored on the difficulty though haha. thank you so much
Oh, so it was a skill issue thing :P. No matter, it was a great experience anyway.
Thank you, you have been verey nice and i am sorry for ranting about my own game.
Nice concept but man, even without the additional spikes this is already pretty hard
simple yet creative idea, im just horrible at platformers and only got 19 point :)
I thought the mechanics were sound, although some of the spike placements were way worse than others. My main complaints had nothing to do with the actual gameplay. First is that the sound was really obnoxious, and second is the countdown clock in the background felt like it hurt my ability to concentrate more than it needed to - a countdown off to the side would have been perhaps less stylish, but definitely a lot more functional. I scored 22 points and died probably 50 times - I'm not a good enough precision platformer for it, but I bet some Ultimate Chicken Horse enjoyers would play the heck out of this. Really, really creative idea.
Thank you for playing, that is the highest score I have seen so far, my personal record is 46, nice job
please enjoy
