Really cozy art and audio, and the gameplay is quite engaging one i got the hang of it. Really good entry!

The artwork is really beautiful, and the game plays smoothly! It took me a few restarts to figure out all the obstacles and mechanics, and I wonder if it'd be better if they were a bit more staggered?

Anyway, great work

I love the art work! You’ve nailed that perfect balance between the snug warmth of the campfire and the stark, biting chill of the snowy forest. But the background sound feels a tad cluttered at times.Maybe you can add some snow particle effects could really push that wintry atmosphere over the top.

I also think this aesthetic is practically begging for a stronger narrative focus—slowing the game pacing down a touch would give that built-in story vibe even more room to breathe. The mood alone already feels like it’s hiding a dozen little tales, which is such a rare quality!

Hope to see what new mechanics you’ll layer in down the line—this has so much untapped potential. Can’t wait to see where you take it next!

5/5 Perfect

Small and polished. Aiming is a bit hard tho, it would've been easier with the mouse.

Beautiful game ! Surely one of the best looking in the jam. The atmosphere pulled me in right away, and I liked how simple the gameplay is while still feeling tense. Amazing work !!!

Such a beautiful and emotionally engaging game! Making the player responsible for the cubs was a great choice, as saving them begins to feel like a real responsibility rather than just a game objective. Beautiful artwork and excellent work overall!

Foxes! Beautiful art, great game

Developer

Snow cuties. thanks for the review

Ah, that art is so nice! The game is heartbreaking. I was looking for some hidden treasures under the trees, are there any?

Developer

Thank you for the nice comment on art, I put a lot of effort into it. We wanted to make a really polished game so we reduced the features to bare minimum. We will definitely add some hidden things under the tree if we work more on the game.

Very nice art, and I also like the underlying meaning of how hard it is to survive in the wild.

Developer

I am so happy you appreciate the difficulty of the game. Thank you for the comment.

Some of the best artwork I've seen this game jam, and also an amazing idea. I love how i was getting frustrated after a few tries, but then realized that was the point. It is really hard for these animals.

Developer

Thanks a lot for the compliment on the artwork it was my first time hand animating and I think the result is pretty cool too. This kind of comment on your experience playing the game is really precious. thank you

Super compelling story line and beautiful art work, Great job! It was harrowing, however. I was not expecting to be shot dead. And the pups I lost? I'll never recover.

Developer

The cold winter has no mercy.

The game looks beautiful, Only one cub survived in my attempt. It's a very simple, but nice game

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, one cub is already really good, the game is not trivial.

This was a beautiful game. Very hard, but i think that just really just emphasized the narrative of the game. Even then i think catching bunnies could be slightly more forgiving. Either way, i really loved it!

Developer

Yes we wanted to make a difficult but balanced experience. Thank you so much for the feedback we will take it into account in future updates.

The artwork is awesome! The game is a little difficult at first, but we get used to it

Developer

Yes, there is a learning curve to it. Thank you for the feedback and the compliment.

I really liked this art, and I really liked how it's conveying this feeling of desperately trying to survive. Very hard though.

Developer

The art was made with this intention. I am happy it had this effect on you. Thank you for the precious feedback.
