well done! simple gameplay, but quite a few levels for a game jam!
Thanks a lot :-)
very fun to play, simple but super enjoyable. I didn't really understand what was going on during the final exam, until I realized I had to take the trwasure and leave. Anyway, very cool game!
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed the game! The "final exam" was thought to be some kind of final boss but the door do not properly close like the rest of the dungeons (this need to be fixed). Congrats on becoming a knight of the dungeon :-)
Fun idea to also use the countdown as both a health bar and a currency; that leads to interesting trade-offs. I can imagine you could take this core idea further in a lot of interesting directions.
Small gripe: it's a bit awkward to use arrow keys to move in a keyboard-and-mouse game, at least on my keyboard. I'd recommend also allowing for WASD movement as well, which is kind of the convention for these sorts of games (although I can imagine left-handed people may appreciate arrow keys more, so ideally using either would be possible).
Thanks! I think I will try to push this game further after the end of the rating period, I had a lot of fun developing during the game jam. Regarding the controls, I think you are right, I'll try to add support for WASD! Thanks again for the feedbacks!
mann awesome idea! you made a melee binding of isaac where time is money and health bar (just as I did in mine), its very fun and rewarding, loved how you progress increasing your dungeon to making it harder. the screen shaking effects are great add in to the game and I cannot see it without.
Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed the game, i really like yours too!
Great idea tying player damage to the time left to complete the dungeon! The smoothness of this game is really nice. Also enjoy the monty-python like final boss :)
Thansk a lot! I'm glad you made it to the final boss!
really simple concept, but great balancing and feel
Thanks!
Lovely simple concept and game. I liked the soundtrack a lot! Well done
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed :)
Kind of refreshing how fun such a simple game/concept can be.
I enjoyed myself from start to finish. The simple game art is done very well btw, it did not feel cheap in any way. That's refelective.
Well done!
Thanks a lot, that's very nice, i'm glad you enjoyed the game! Thanks!
The art style was diverse but matched perfectly in my opinion! Happy to say I passed my final exam t become a knight!
It was interesting to see time as a currency AND health at the same time. Smart implementation of the theme!
Congratulation!! I'm glad you liked the game :-)
Fun little game! Good job.
Trading time for upgrades is such a fun risk-versus-reward mechanic! I love how enemy hits penalize your time, and the ability to retreat lets you save your run at the cost of a lower score. Really clever design balance!
thanks a lot!
Fun little game, completed everything to A+ :P The screen shake on taking damage felt a bit too much, but other than that, I enjoyed playing. Well done!
Well done!! Thanks for the feedback on the screen shake!
A very satisfying experience, especially making sure I got A+ on each level. It's a nice tight loop, with and the combat has some nice juice.
I do agree on with the first comment, in that it took me far too long to realise that the yellow bars were doors! I even reloaded in a different browser to see if it was an issue on Firefox, so perhaps a small amount of tutorialisation there would have been helpful; but I do think that's my only critique.
The game is a great length with decent tuning for a jam. Sure the Force powerup is probably a bit busted, but I really don't mind that for a jam as it's better that everyone can complete your game than struggle.
Everything is really polished and buttery smooth. Thank you, that was fun.
Thanks for playing the game and for your nice comment! For the doors, i hesitated to replace the yellow "bars" with empty spaces (like an open door) but i was afraid it would have not been noticed by players. But yes, maybe some indications / tutorial would help! Happy you got the A+! :)
Tight game, pretty simple but enjoyable :)
The whole game feels really smooth - love it :) The music speedup is really nice. Like that you developed this with raylib! Only thing that feels a little bit unintentional - at least for me xD - is that the dash goes in the direction the arrow keys are facing and not your mouse is.
Thanks a lot! I had a lot of fun with raylib indeed! Thanks for the feedback on the dash, i didn't think of it but it would make more sense!
Nice jobbb! very simple and OK feedback. I would add a little more juice to the attacks and movement.
Thanks a lot for playing the game and the kind feedback!
I like the look of the game, but I am stuck on the first level and nothing is happening. You might want to check that.
Thanks for playing the game, you need to get the chest and come back to the flag. The yellow "bars" are doors to next rooms of the dungeon. Does it works better? The controls are arrow keys for moving and left click for attacking :)
ooohhh, yeah now I I can play, thanks
