Really fun concept!! I always thought that a roguelike style game where you or another player builds the locations and enemies you go through would be super intriguing! I think that it would be really fun to play off of upgrading the strength of enemies which would in turn give you more rewards for placing those specific ones. You did a good job on the length of the game and the only part that I was confused about at first was that you had to take one specific side of the exit to go to the next stage. I got stuck walking into the back of it at first and walked in circles around the level for 20 seconds or so lol.

Thank you for playing and the feedback.
Yes, I just didn't have the time to replace the placeholder. At the very least I should have increased the size of the hitbox.

Really cool concept! Fitting a whole dungeon builder inside a game jam is quite the accomplishment! Has a prototype feel to it but there a lot of potential here! Good job!

Developer

Thank you, I was definitely trying too much for the time given, and it shows in the amount of bugs and lack of polish.
But the feedback gives me motivation to work on it some more.

Very nice concept! I did a bug where my right mouse click was doing what the Q button was supposed to do and vice versa. But overall great game! :)

Thank you for playing :)
Yes, I realized but it was too late to fix it. I hoped no one would notice^^

I absolutely love the concept of the game! But the enemies are a little too difficult 😅or maybe i am just bad 🥲

Developer

Thanks for trying! Don't worry, the balancing is just way off and I didn't have time to properly test it :D

this game has a really good concept, but it's pretty unpolished, probably because you ran out of time. i see a lot of potential in this being turned into a full game release!

Developer

Thanks! Yes, time was the biggest issue (heh).
I will try to work on an extended version with proper polish :)

The gameplay is honestly a really good idea that I don't see many games do. I think this can be a great roguelike game if executed properly. A lot of "risk" in roguelikes are choosing the right paths or items, but this one is MAKING the right path, which is so cool to think about. I really believe you should continue on expanding this game because I would love to see what could come about from this. Good game and amazing concept!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and also the encouraging words, Rekin :)
I was inspired by Loop Hero, where the player also chooses the difficulty themselves and has to weigh risk/reward against each other.
Right now the combat and reward tuning is way off, but i will try to make a proper post-jam version.

cool idea! loved the puzzle aspect, although i quickly ended up just farming goblin camps :-)

Developer

Thanks!
Yes, the combat and time rewards still need some tuning.
