The sound and movement have a fantastic game feel, really satisfying to move around and dodge into enemies. I haven't beaten the game yet, I keep reaching the grandfather clock one. I'll try again later.

It would be nice to have an indicator of how much progress we have made after we die, just to know.

Game is very fun, well done!

Fighting with the time, just like in real life, great work!

The animations and VFX are really good! Just felt a bit too difficult to kill the shield and sword clocks without taking damage. I always felt limited by health not time so didn't get to experience the theme link to its potential. The knight's moves maybe should've been more slow and prewarned, so you can run away then come back while it recharges. Especially for a general audience of a game jam, bit too hard.

Also the game maybe could've been taught more clearly, as for a while I thought you had to hit the clock when they reach the X, or had to dodge the attack when it reaches X, but only after checking the clips on the page did I realise you had to kill it before the X.

Perhaps being able to use up your stored time to pause the game but you can keep moving would be a cool addition.

But overall, the dash and combat feels very good and the audio communicates the actions to the player as well as having great music.

Thank you for playing! All really good points, and if I end up developing this further, freezing time would be a really fun mechanic.

The controls felt very satisfying, especially the dash. The game has a lot of surprising depth and I’d love to see a polished version after the jam! Overall good job!

lmao I kept getting too greedy with storing time ;-;

Such a cool risk/reward mechanic that goes really well with the theme!

Hard game! I got to the one with two towers, the sword guy, and the clock. I was confused for a while about the time mechanic until I read the description in the "How does your game fit the theme?" section. I wish it was more explained in the game because I was assuming it would help me during encounters but that wasn't the case. I like the art and variety of enemies as well as the music - it all fits quite well together. The UI was really cool too. Would like to come back and beat it at some point.

Thank you for playing! You've got a good point. I wanted the mechanic to be kind of a mystery until it was revealed at the end, but in hindsight I don't think that works with the difficulty of the game, since it takes a bit to make it to the boss, and not everyone does.

Congratulations! I really love the enemy character design and how their mechanics fit with the theme of the Jam. The encounter with the two awake enemies was maybe a bit too difficult, but overall it was still a really fun experience!
