Very awesome game! I love how one of the puzzle aspects was choosing which color bear to play as. Amazing job to the team!
Really cool game! I've played a couple puzzle games before that involve using your past selves, but this was a nice interpretation of it. The art is super cute and the sounds too, I like how the bear looks and sounds when you jump. It's super intuitive and simple, but still makes you think (that last level stumped me for a bit when thinking about how to collect every star)
I think the only improvements would be with how the game could do with more levels, and a way to return to the menu perhaps with a level select option? Also little minor things like the bears not appearing on the same y level when on a platform that moves up.
I also just wanna say that the logo is really well drawn, and I absolutely love the soundtrack, it's incredible. (the final ost may have been a bit loud though)
Thank you so much for such a detailed and sweet review!🥹🫶
So happy to hear you loved the art, the jump sounds (hehe, I love those too), the logo, and the soundtrack! That last level was definitely meant to make you think, so awesome job beating it!
I also had to laugh at your note about the final music track— our composer actually warned me literally 5 minutes before the deadline that the volume was too loud, but at that point, I just had to hit publish and pray! 😅
Same thing for the level select and options menu: I had actually started programming them, but then the project got corrupted right near the end and I lost precious time fixing it.
Thank you again for playing, noticing all these details, and for the amazing feedback, it means the world to us!❤️
Good entry and the bouncy little animations feel very good! Some of the execution feels a little finicky and once you've figured out the solution to a puzzle it often means resetting and setting everything up again, which doesn't feel great. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!
Thank you so much for playing and for the lovely feedback!🫶
So glad you enjoyed the animations and had fun overall! You're completely right about the execution, having to manually set everything up again after already solving the puzzle in your head definitely kills the momentum a bit. A quick-reset/undo for individual steps is top of our list for future updates, since many of you are asking!
Thanks again for taking the time to leave a comment, it means a lot to us!❤️
Great art and really cool principle, i really enjoyed it!
I would add two minors changes tho:
- Make it possible to restart for one bear and not the whole level (Like in level 2, i fell in the hole and... i had to restart from the beginning? Or maybe i missed the note?)
- Make it slightly more color blind friendly, I had a lot of troubles figuring out which bear I was supposed to use ahah
Otherwise, great game, it does have potential! Congratulations ;
Thank you so much for playing and for the awesome feedback!🫶
So glad you enjoyed the art and concept! You didn't miss any note, unfortunately, but having a single-bear undo is definitely the #1 feature we need to add.
Also, thank you so much for bringing up color blindness! Making the bears easily distinguishable through colors or maybe shapes is a super important point, and we'll definitely make accessibility a priority for future updates.
Thanks again for playing and for helping us make the game better!❤️
Short but fun! Very creative idea, I see how you could create even more involving levels with more time. The art is super cute. My only note is that the bear's small rotation makes precisely jumping harder than it should be. Nevertheless, great game!
Thank you so much for the kind words!❤️
Really glad you liked the concept and saw the potential for more levels! And thank you for the feedback on the jump, you're totally right, tight controls are everything in a puzzle platformer, so that's definitely something we'll fine-tune!
Thanks again for playing and supporting our game!❤️
Amazing! One of my favourites so far. Unique idea and gameplay loop. Music and art are also great.
Thank you so much for the amazing support!
We're so glad you loved it! Hearing feedback like this really makes all the hard work during the jam worth it. Thanks for playing!❤️
Great game! Love the art and music. The levels were fun. Would've been nice if you could restart just that bear and not the entire level, but I guess that adds to the difficulty.
Really awesome game. One of my favorites! Great job!
Thank you so much for the amazing feedback!
So glad you enjoyed the art, music, and puzzles! The single-bear undo button is definitely our top priority for future updates!
Thanks again for playing and for making our day with this comment!❤️
Ahhh this game is so cute and everything about is so perfect!! the sfx, the ui, the cute bears and environment's art. If there's one thing i disliked is that having to reset the whole level if i messed up with one bear was pretty annoying, but that's it. Well done!!!!
Ahhh thank you so much for the sweet words!!❤️
Hearing that you loved the sfx, art, and ui honestly makes us so happy! And you're completely right, having to reset the entire level over a single mistake was super annoying, so a single-bear undo is officially #1 on our fix list since we want to keep updating the game!
Thanks a lot for playing and for taking the time to share your love, it really means the world to us!❤️
Woohoo I beat it! I won't belabor the critiques given earlier, it sounds like the critiques are already well taken :) Definitely a concept with a lot of promise. To add my own input- if each puzzle took place on the same screen (no scrolling, the whole map is seen all at once), then you wouldn't have to worry about some of the other critiques
Woohoo, congrats on beating it!!🥳
Thank you so much for playing! Honestly, having each puzzle on a single screen with no scrolling is such a simple idea, I have no idea why I didn't think of it sooner! It completely solves the issue of not knowing what's ahead. Thank you, that's genuinely so helpful!
Really appreciate you taking the time to share this idea and for seeing the promise in our concept. Thanks again for the awesome support! ❤️
Very cool game! I wish I had the option of resetting just the last bear I played rather than the whole level, but other than that very creative and very fun!
Thank you so much for playing and for the sweet feedback!❤️
You're so right, a single-bear reset button would have saved so much time and frustration! Hearing this from so many players, it's definitely the #1 feature we'll add in a future update.
So glad you found the concept creative and fun overall, thanks again for the support! ❤️
Really clever concept but it's slightly annoying to have to redo the level because you couldn't see what color you actually need for what part of the level. Feels like in a game like this the main challenge should be executing the plan and not needing to randomly guess who you need.
In spite of that though, the game was really fun! I loved the art and the more intense music for the final level. Great job!
Thank you so much for playing and for the honest feedback!
You hit the nail on the head, the challenge definitely should be about executing the puzzle, not trial-and-error guessing with the colors! Seeing how many people mentioned this, we completely agree that clearer color indications (or an single-bear undo feature) would make the experience so much better.
I'm really glad you still had fun despite that, and that you enjoyed the art and the final level music! Thanks again for taking the time to write this, it really helps us improve! ❤️
Really cool twist on the genre, very creative way to incorporate the theme. Loved the audio and visuals. It could get a bit too frustrating at times though.
Thanks a lot for the great feedback!
So happy you enjoyed the creative twist on the theme as well as the audio and visuals! Completely fair point about the frustration level, we're definitely taking notes on how to make the gameplay smoother and less punishing if we keep expanding it.
Thanks again for stopping by!
Love it, art is amazing, controls are great, sound effects and music is great, I only think that the stars and portals could be a tiny bit more intuitive.
Thanks a lot for the awesome feedback!
So glad to hear you enjoyed the art, controls, and audio! Completely agree on the stars and portals, making their logic clearer is definitely something we'll improve in a future update.
Thanks again for playing and supporting our game! 🙌
Really polished and fun platformer
Thank you so much!
So happy to hear you found it fun and polished! Thanks a lot for playing and for taking the time to leave a comment!❤️
such a polished and cute platformer! I had lots of fun with this one, figuring out the right path to collect all the stars and reach the end portal. Huge kudos to the devs!
Thank you so much! we're glad you enjoyed the game!
I loved the game!! It was very fun to collaborate with my previous versions! The only thing that bothered me a little bit was not knowing which color to use beforehand and needing to repeat the level all over again, also if you fall down for example with the last bear you need to repeat the whole scenario, I would have love a reset just for a single bear (but maybe I've missed it). But I loved that you introduced the fast forward, it's missing in a lot of similar games! Great job it was super fun!!
Thank you so much for the awesome feedback!❤️
So glad you enjoyed collaborating with your past versions, and I'm really happy you appreciated the fast forward button!
You didn't miss anything, unfortunately, there really wasn't a single-bear reset button. Falling down with the last bear after doing a whole run must have been so frustrating, and having to restart the entire level to guess the right colors definitely hurt the pacing. An undo/reset button for individual bears is officially at the top of our list since we want to keep updating the game!
Thanks again for playing and for taking the time to share your thoughts, it means a lot to us!❤️
Absolutely perfect, super creative puzzle game, and that last level definitely made me scratch my head a little bit. Like others have said, an undo mechanic for 1 bear would have been fantastic, and also an indication for what the portal color would be great. I guessed the portal color correctly each time but others might have not been so lucky. Maybe instead of a portal it could be a locked door that can be unlocked with a colored key? Otherwise it's a great game, 5 stars all around.
Wow, thank you so much for the 5-star review! 🥹🫶
I'm so happy you enjoyed the creativity and the final puzzle! The idea of replacing the portals with colored keys and locked doors is super smart, that would definitely clear up any guessing games. We're also taking note of the single-bear undo button for future updates!
Thanks again for playing and for the amazing support! 🙌
