Really love the theme of this, excellent use of folklore throughout. The "body swap if you say the name three times" is a great idea with a lot of potential for chaos. Pixbees are wonderful.

Agree with others that are a few issues that affect ease of use, e.g. font size, mixup with 9 and 10 and the Banshee being referred to without being in the list of Denizens. I think you could probably shorten / condense some of the info on the first page to give yourself a bit more space to describe the Regions in a larger font (esp. the Trials).

I also have mixed feelings about the use of colour to identify creatures, it's obviously great thematically but makes it a bit trickier to follow - I'd like the visual link to be stronger, e.g. maybe incorporate a small icon for each creature, or have the denizen-descriptions positioned nearer the relevant locations, if possible (although appreciate that'd involve messing with the layout quite a lot!).

I do want to emphasise though that in spite of these fairly minor issues this is definitely one of my favourite entries so far, will definitely look for and play the updated version!

Mischievous and fae! The interactivity of names is a wonderfully devious trick to communicate the setting.

Theme and mood are fantastic, and thanks for the devlog. I just wanted to point out a few small foundings that could make running the module a bit smoother:  the rich atmospheric details and hazards are great for setting the scene, but adding explicit mechanical hooks would help GMs put them in play. Also, Location 11 brings up Night Lords and The Reaper, but without stats or a reference, it's tricky to know how to run them (perhaps are standard Knave encounters?).

Lastly, there are a few minor typos (such as the Restless Dead stat block reading C 19)

I like the way the color-coded statistics blocks get assigned to slightly differently named versions of the monster - the Bloody Gnomes, Sadistic Hobs, and Redcaps are all the same guys, but... are they? Nice!

This does quite a lot with quite a little. I feel confident that it would make a perilous, interesting few evenings of Wooded Confinement for the PCs, and that's so inspiring to find in so few pages.

Stellar! Anything I would critique has already been mentioned below, so I'm just going to take the time to compliment the theming, because, goodness, it's the complete package! A brilliant amalgam of folklore that is intricately woven into the setting!

Really liked the approach to classic folklore and tropes, will make players engage with the setting in a more proactive way. Really dig the collectathon element of the adventure and the cover art. Others have pointed out the font size. Were there supposed to be two banshees on hexes 9 and 10? Hope to run it soon!

Hey there, thank you so much for the review!

I have made a devlog post on my main page with some errata- unfortunately yes the banshee was accidently listed twice, when it should have only been in Loc. 9. All that will be updated post Jam judgement along with resizing the text.

Really like both the map and the art for the cover, and the overall template for the module. My only suggestion would be to makethe text bigger, as other already pointed out it's a bit hard to read without a deep zoom on it, and I think a printed version too would draws its benefits in bigger text.

The setting, anyway, Is really flavourful and thematic

Hey, thank you so much! Text will definitely get a resize once edits are allowed- really glad you liked the setting though! :)

Great maps and art. I love the evocative fae theme too. Really well. The text is wicked small, but you can expand it after the jam is you feel like it.

Developer

Thank you so much- I really appreciate it! Text will definitely be getting resized after the Jam hold!

Maps and information are laid out clearly and are easy to follow. Deeply rooted in classic fae and folkloric tropes; reminds me heavily of Dolmenwood (which I enjoy greatly). The text is brutally small at times which is unfortunate for people who like access to analogue materials. This may have been avoided through a combination of utilizing the cover page for more information and/or shortening descriptions. Also, it seems like location 10 could have been written more clearly as it (a) took me a few tries to understand what the situation is and (b) introduces a "half-slice" which seems to disrupt an otherwise straightforward mechanic. The thesaurus of titles to avoid using true names is charming, and I enjoy how each trial requires a different approach on the part of the PCs.  Thank you for sharing your project.

Thank you so much for your review and feedback! To be compared favorably to Dolmenwood is a huge compliment.

I am also someone who prefers analogue materials, so post judgement-period I will look into adjusting the text size. I appreciate that feedback immensely!

Also location 10 is definitely supposed to say "half a clock" rather than half a "slice." I will also be changing that as soon as allowed, hopefully not developing an ulcer in the meantime xD
