Solid entry all-around! Good audio and gameplay loop. The challenge builds nicely as you have to eat more and more before the sun rises, you have to start multitasking, and that increases the chance that you'll miss something, like leaving the fridge open or letting the food go too long. I will say that I didn't really understand the cat - petting it did nothing as far as I could tell, I assumed that putting food in its bowl would keep it distracted and away from me for a while but that didn't happen, and it seemed to move randomly so it was kind of unpredictable when it would bump me out of the way of the STOP button, which was a little frustrating
I came here expecting a cozy cooking game... instead I got childhood trauma simulator. Amazing atmosphere!
Ahaha 'You died. Mother has found you' is such a surprisingly poignant line!! This is hilarious, I really wasn't expecting the artwork shift when the door opens. Really effective. I love it all - great work.

very cool game but the sensitivity is super high and theres no way to reduce it, and i keep losing even though i dont think im making too much noise

Cool idea! The interaction tooltips were a bit small for me, but managed to avoid waking mom up for a good while!

I really enjoyed this one!! Very fun idea :) i would maybe have liked a bit more UI to help track sounds and hunger, because the darkening made me think I was passing out but I think it was actually to do with being too loud? But! Overall liked your game a lot, great work :)
totally agree!! we wanted to prevent the use of UI elements as much as possible to make the game feel immersive, but looking back i think some UI elements would’ve definitely helped! thank you so much for playing (:

I kept failing but I loved it each time and I wouldn't do it differently. I'm not sure I understand what is waking mom up. I saw there's a sound detector but I couldn't find how to use it. Even though I loved spending time in the kitchen looking for food, really fun!

Guys, I don't know how I finished 1st level. I did 2nd one like 4 times already. First time I just put popcorn on 30s without reading the cards and I passed the 1st level. Level 2 I just cannot do it, even if I put microvave on 40s and turn it of when its 30 then its bearly a food :(. Anyways it hits really close to home and I'd love to play the full expirience If you can explain it to me how to :D Either way it's very cool game. Can you rate mine also?

Just added some clarification in the instructions, but the closer you end the timer to zero, the better the food restores hunger! We realized it would be too easy otherwise haha. Let me know if that fixes it!
