This is a cool one, full of good ideas and written in a wonderfully concise way that still evokes the mood of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (or Alien, or The Abyss, or Sphere).

Gorgeous layout & an exceptionally fitting font! I think this one absolutely nailed the look & feel of turn-of-the-century fiction, and hit the Appendix N vibes perfectly.
I also liked that the adventure can be run numerous times & still remain entirely unpredictable, what with the ship’s mapping and room conditions, loot, encounters, & inhabitants being all procedurally generated. Fantastic work!
Finally, something different! I really love the vibes and the setting. I just have a couple of questions: given the procedural generation, where do the characters enter? Is it a specific room tile? Also, should we assume they start with diving gear, or do they risk drowning inside a flooded submarine?
P.s. a few minor typos like "zombis"
Thanks! And whoops! The starting section got lost in the shuffle between editing. Initially intended it PCs to start in the top middle section, but randomly picking any top row section would work. For starting gear, I'd say either option depending on how difficult you want it to be! There is the possibility of finding necessary gear while exploring.
(I'd love to revisit this adventure someday to flesh out those sorts of options)
Extremely cool concept and interpretation of the title! Love the mechanic of the diver moving towards PCs each time and being it's own threat beyond just being present. It really is an actual race against it and honestly several other things - not least of which being the PCs growing terror. Great work! Love it!
Very clean visual identity and cool enemies in this one. I like the contrast between the diver and the automatons especially. Fits fantastically in the pulp era and for the system.
Reading this I was all like “Yeah, I like the steampunk aesthetics” and “Yeah, the random ship layout is nice.”
Then I got to the last page and the diver.
Very. Interesting.
I would not like to be on that wreck not being the GM :-D
Was slightly disappointed that the nuckelavee was just a namesake, but you quickly made up for it with the awesome procedures, design, and Jules-Verse-esque vibes. Awesome
Thanks!! And I fully admit I was pushing the interpretation of the title. The concept of the diver and sub kinda just popped into my head and it was too much fun to not pursue it (my tenuous excuse/connection is that since the nuckelavee is traditionally a malevolent water spirit, and the sub is kinda spooky and underwater...). Maybe when I eventually revisit this someday, the Diver will become more monstrous in appearance to match the actual nuckelavee lololol.
Great module, really like how it's playable and adaptable to any kind of game. It could be a game on its own with some combat rules. Also, nice cover!
Great visual design and theme. I think this would be a ton of fun to play.
I love the visual design, the layout, and the overall playability.
