Three things I like about this entry is how creative the whole entry is, starting from the hand-drawn aesthetics, ads, and paperback aesthetics, and then it's close theming to Appendix N (very weird), and lastly how beautifully compressed everything was. This entry is enough to tell the GM on what kind of adventure they should run, and this was a masterpiece in presenting that. This is definitely my personal preference, but this was definitely meant to be printed and folded, because I would prefer the introduction and random tables to be at the second page first so I can understand it faster. Tiny tidbit, but I would've loved if you can put the download key somewhere easier (project page description?). If I didn't check out the comments, I would've missed it :<. But, superb entry regardless!

LMAO this whips! Great authorial voice, and I just love the “authorial” jabs at the imagined audience for being nerdy pedants about needing a map- so good! More authors need a healthy disdain for their fans imo lol

The ad was really well done, and the roll tables make such economic use of available space it’s unreal. Super solid entry that made me wanna go get Frontier Scum immediately. Wonderful job!

This is definitely near the top of my list of favorites of the jam. Everything about this one is just. so. cool! I love the perspective of the writing; dressing up the encounter table as a list of additional books from the publisher, the clearly-annoyed tone of the author finally giving a map for the squabbling fans to argue over...all such great little touches. Also really love the pencil doodles on the map page : )

AWESOME work!

Jam Judge

Hi Charles! Would you please generate eight download keys and email them to jorphdan@gmail.com so I can get your entry to our judges. Thank you!

This sounds cool. Is there a chance you have community copies for the Jam Rating Period?

Visually the coolest. I enjoyed and like every bit of this. So much info packed in and really gets the imagination going! Well done.

Thank you so much! I found it tricky when working on this that basically only two out of the four pages contain useful information, but I’m glad it ended up legible and interesting!

This is Appendix N af. A very cool location to explore!

This oozes the vibe to me! I haven't played Frontier Scum but familiar with the idea and Borg type of games. This seems to fit perfectly into the vibe

Thanks so much! Frontier Scum is AMAZING - I would highly recommend checking it out!

the cigarette ads is a really cool !!

Developer

haha thanks so much! self-destructive of me to dedicate an entire page to it, but i couldn’t resist! a real paperback i bought had a cigarette ad right in the middle that literally split up a sentence, so my version being annoying and distracting is part of the charm ;)
