I enjoyed this. Some additional sparkle effects would have been cool as Agent57951 says and especially on completion of a path but it’s a clever system you have designed here. Got to love a memory game.
Thanks a lot. I agree that path completion is the right place for it. I kept the visuals restrained for readability, but I’m going to try subtle sparkle feedback on route reveal and level clear so it feels more rewarding without making the maze noisy.
Cool concept! I liked how it started playing instantly without downloading any assets.
Thanks! Instant play was intentional. I wanted the game to load fast and get straight to the memory loop without downloads or waiting, so I’m glad that came through.
Enjoyable twist on typical maze games. Would like to see some star-like sparkle special effects? :)
Thanks, that is a good idea. I kept the visuals dark so the maze stays readable, but subtle star-like sparkles during the route reveal or on level clear could add more reward without cluttering the screen. I’ll experiment with that in a future update.
memorize-then-fog is a great loop. that panic when the fog drops and your mental map is already wrong, good stuff.
Thanks a lot. That memorize-then-fog panic is exactly the loop I wanted to test. I’m using this jam to see if the idea is clear and tense enough, so this feedback helps a lot. I’ll check out Chargo too.
