As I played through this lovely little treasure, I started thinking about those pirate games like “Sid Meier´s Pirates!”, and how fun it would be to have a game like that where DiD was a big part of the gameplay. Somehow, this game managed to give that feeling despite the limitation of the Game Jam.
I also remember seeing some of the creator´s art on DeviantArt, so I was happy to see more of that artwork through this game. The illustration of the merchant´s daughter looked really cute. The design of the MC we saw in 2 CGs was particularly endearing. I would love a game where we could have some escape sequences with a character like that.
I liked the music and sound effects as well. Good job on those muffled noises 😉
Another game jam game with lots of potential! I would love to collect damsels and “bring some bondage into the sea” on a bigger scope.
